When Evelyn asked what the problem was with the Stanley family handing over to Oliver, Lauren Stanley's expression changed somewhat, but not in a positive direction.
She looked at Evelyn with a hostile gaze, becoming fierce and aggressive. "What do you mean? What's wrong with the Stanley family giving it to Oliver? He is the rightful heir of the Stanley family."

"You have been working diligently in the Stanley Group, and everyone who knows you recognizes your abilities. Haven't you ever thought about taking over the Stanley Group yourself?" Evelyn asked directly.
As soon as these words came out, Lauren Stanley instantly sat up from her chair and glared at Evelyn with anger. "I warn you, stop talking nonsense. Oliver is my brother, and it is only natural for him to take over the Stanley family. Why would I have any other thoughts?"
Seeing her serious rebuttal, Evelyn couldn't help but smile. "Is that so? You really have no other thoughts? Or perhaps you are just too scared to have any other thoughts?"
Lauren Stanley became agitated and wanted to argue back, but Evelyn quickly cut her off. "I guess your father warned you a long time ago not to have any designs on the Stanley Group, so you dare not, am I right?"
"You..." Lauren Stanley started, but Evelyn interrupted again. "He even forbade you from publicly revealing your identity, making you work tirelessly in the Stanley Group without giving you the corresponding treatment."
"In reality, you hate him, don't you?"

Evelyn was right, that was the truth.

"I want to help you. I believe that with your abilities, you shouldn't always be subordinate to others," Evelyn didn't hide her true intentions.
But Lauren Stanley didn't believe her and snorted coldly. "Are you here to find me because of Natalie?"
Although she wasn't in the Stanley family anymore, she was still in the Stanley Group.
On the subject of work, Oliver and Natalie's marriage, she certainly knows about it. Considering Evelyn's relationship with Dermot, and the fact that Natalie used to have a relationship with Dermot as well, it is actually quite easy to guess.
