"This is so sudden. It couldn't have been Dermot who initiated the breakup, considering how much he cared," Keith pondered. If it wasn't Dermot, then it could only be Evelyn. Why would she suddenly want to break up?
Keith had many thoughts swirling in his mind when Sarah glanced at him and asked, "What are you here for again? Is Zheng Group going bankrupt? You keep coming to see me every day."
"Just wanted to have a meal with you. After all, we're in a cooperation now. You should at least give me that much face," Keith smiled, feeling quite good. Ever since he partnered with Dermot, the Zheng Group had been completely under his control, thanks to his help. Now it was a breeze.
"You think I have time to have a meal with you when the plagiarism issue hasn't been resolved?" Sarah complained, frowning. She knew that Natalie's store was opening in their mall but hadn't been informed, leaving her unprepared.
Keith had no knowledge of such matters. It wasn't his responsibility to handle these things personally, so how could he know who had rented their mall's stores? "It hasn't been resolved yet? Do you want me to help?" he offered, secretly investigating the issue but not informing Sarah.
Shaking her head, Sarah recounted what happened earlier. "Emily has been taken in by the police. I need to go there now. I probably won't have time to have a meal with you."
"I'll drive you," Keith stood up, hoping to resolve this trouble as soon as possible.
Sarah didn't refuse, and together they left the company and got into the car, heading towards the police station.
Emily quickly confessed everything, and the official announcement from the police soon came out. She had been arrested for stealing commercial secrets.
Meanwhile, Natalie received a court summons for the plagiarism charges. She didn't care much and simply ordered the store to be closed. After all, the store was established to smear Evelyn's reputation, and now that it had served its purpose, it was no longer necessary.
