Chapter 399 Deal

Marina nodded repeatedly, thinking that Evelyn made sense. "Eve, my dad asked me to tell you that the Peterson family crisis is over. Your investment won't disappoint you."
Hearing her speak so seriously, Evelyn couldn't help but laugh, "Okay, I trust Uncle."

"Eve, I invite you..."
"Evelyn, are you done? Let's have dinner together!" Greg appeared out of nowhere, beaming as he approached Evelyn.

Marina paused, looking at Greg standing in front of her. Although it wasn't her first time seeing this man, it was the first time being this close.
Bang, bang, bang, she could hear her own heartbeat accelerating.

She vigorously shook her head to dismiss the inappropriate thoughts in her mind. He liked Eve, how could she possibly compare?

Evelyn didn't know what Marina was thinking beside her, but upon hearing Greg's words, the smile on her face disappeared almost instantly, "No need, I'm busy."

"Busy? What else do you have to do?" Greg could clearly see that she was deliberately rejecting him, but he wasn't angry. He had an indifferent look, as if it didn't matter what she was busy with, he wouldn't leave.

This demeanor made Evelyn feel somewhat irritated. "Mr. Hamilton, I've told you many times, I'm not interested in you, understand?" He fell silent, how would Greg ever give up?

"I understand, I understand," he nodded, but Evelyn felt like he didn't take it to heart at all.
Just as Evelyn was about to get angry, Greg quickly grabbed Marina's arm and said softly, "Let's go together, alright?"

He knew that Evelyn was afraid of being misunderstood about their relationship, although he wasn't pleased, he had no choice but to bring along one more person.

Marina was about to refuse when Greg whispered in her ear, "Do me a favor, your dad wants to establish a connection with the Hamilton family recently. I can be the link."

Marina's father was an ambitious person as well. After this crisis, his sights were set on Colombia, and he happened to choose the Hamilton family.

The Hamilton family.
Greg doesn't have time to deal with the Hamilton family's affairs right now, but at least his grandfather is the one in charge. The Peterson family wants to collaborate, and it's as simple as that.

Upon hearing this, Marina was stunned, looking at him with disbelief, surprised that he even knew who she was.

Greg smiled and remained silent. He made jokes about thoroughly investigating everyone around Evelyn, so there was nothing he didn't know.

"Sorry, but the Peterson family is the Peterson family, and Eve is Eve. We can't mix them up." The meaning was clear - I can't disregard Evelyn's wishes for the sake of the Peterson family's interests.

Greg was genuinely stunned, looking at Marina, then at Evelyn. He couldn't help but sigh. Indeed, even if they are from the same family, they don't necessarily share the same sentiments.

Feeling somewhat amused and exasperated, he thought, as the distinguished heir of the Hamilton family, he was at a complete loss.

Their voices weren't too soft, and Evelyn had already heard. Looking at Greg's reaction, she said, "Having a meal together is not out of the question. The Hamilton family should collaborate with the Peterson family."

"Eve, you don't have to..."
"Marina, don't forget that I have a stake in the Peterson family. I am not helping you, but helping myself." If the Peterson family could successfully collaborate with the Hamilton family, there would be a considerable profit to be made, and as a shareholder, she would naturally receive a hefty sum.

Of course, the most important thing was to create an opportunity for the current Peterson family.

If they couldn't find a cooperating group, even if the current problem was resolved, new ones would arise in the future.

"Deal!" Greg didn't care about whatever the two said. For him, any collaboration with the Hamilton family was acceptable, since they had already evaluated the Peterson family.
