Chapter 332 Who Are You?

Mason's face turned pale. The way Evelyn looked at him was as if he were her sworn enemy.

Evelyn didn't mind at all. She smiled back, not believing that Dermot would do anything to her in front of him. Even if he did, Evelyn knew he was no match for her, given his small frame.

"Mason! That's enough!"

Thomas walked over and held him back, looking apologetically at Evelyn. "Sister-in-law, don't mind him. He's just someone who doesn't know how to speak."

"If he doesn't know how to speak, he should stay home and learn, instead of embarrassing himself in public." Evelyn coldly reproached, not sparing Thomas any face.

She agreed to be Dermot's girlfriend purely because she saw something in him, not because of his money. Since that's the case, she didn't mind offending Dermot's friends.

Thomas didn't expect Evelyn to be so tough, not giving them any face at all. He looked at Dermot for help, but the man was just drinking and watching the scene unfold.

Thomas couldn't help but cry and smile helplessly. He thought you really don't care if Evelyn gets hurt.

He dragged Mason back to their original place, but Mason refused to leave because of his anger. "If you weren't Dermot's girlfriend, I bet you wouldn't be able to walk out of this room after those two sentences!"

"Oh? You can try." Evelyn sneered, thinking that he was just a typical raging fool. It would be no challenge for her to handle someone like him.

"You!"

Mason was about to charge forward, but Thomas held him tight. He also had a headache. "Enough, Mason. Are you deliberately provoking Dermot?"

He could already see Dermot's face slightly changing, knowing that if he didn't stop Mason, things would escalate in the private room tonight.

When Thomas mentioned Dermot, Mason regained some composure, but still glared at Evelyn. "If Flora wasn't overseas, what business do you have here?"

After speaking, he followed Thomas back to their original place, no longer paying attention to Evelyn.

Evelyn was a little confused, but quickly realized that Mason was standing up for someone else.

Flora?

Who was this again?

Subconsciously, she glanced at Dermot, but he waved his hand, saying, "Don't listen to his nonsense. I think he's not quite right in the head."

Evelyn pursed her lips. Dermot didn't want to talk about it, and she couldn't be bothered to ask further. They had agreed the day before to trust each other, so she couldn't suddenly doubt Dermot just because of someone else's words, right? That would be like slapping herself in the face.

After that, Evelyn didn't talk much to Dermot's friends. She always felt like they were a small group. Although Thomas and James didn't express direct hostility towards her, they also didn't seem to like her much.

She didn't like to be in a position where she was ignored, so she simply sat there and played with her phone. From the corner of her eye, she noticed Craig not far away, surrounded by girls. Evelyn thought, "He really isn't a good guy. Ruby made the right choice not being with him."

In the restroom, Mason splashed cold water on his face, trying to sober up a bit. The thought of Evelyn made his eyes fill with resentment. Who did she think she was? Dermot was just playing with her. Did she really believe she could marry into the Doyle family?

As he thought about it, footsteps sounded outside the restroom. Mason turned to look and saw Dermot approaching with a serious face. He greeted him with a smile, "Dermot."

Dermot didn't respond but walked up to him with a stern expression. "Dermot, what are you..." Mason's words were cut off as Dermot suddenly lifted him up. "Who do you think you are? How dare you talk to Evelyn like that?"

"Dermot, I didn't..." Mason tried to explain.

"I give you some face, and you think you're my friend? Are you even worthy?" Dermot's face turned cold. In this moment, he was completely different from who he was in the private room.
