Chapter 920 Lily was Not Simple

"You should get what you deserve." Joshua's sinister eyes locked onto her like a demon.

Natalie was terrified. Although she didn't know Joshua well, she could tell he was the type to get physical.

Tears streamed down her face as she pleaded, "I'm sorry. I didn't think much when I said it. I didn't mean to hurt Evelyn. Please let me go."

"Really?" Joshua's lips twisted into a mocking smile.

"Yes, I swear. I have no grudge against her." Natalie nodded desperately, even though it was hard for her to do so at the moment.

But Joshua wasn't a kind person, and he knew Natalie was lying. "No grudge? Then why did I hear you had a falling out in Moris City? Are you sure you weren't seeking revenge?"

Natalie fell silent. She realized Joshua knew everything. If he was here to avenge Evelyn, nothing she said would change his mind. She stopped begging and coldly asked, "What do you want?"

"Don't worry. I won't kill you. But since you like to talk nonsense, you might as well not have a mouth." A bodyguard walked in with a dagger. Despite being mentally prepared, Natalie trembled.

"What do you want?" She widened her eyes in disbelief as the bodyguard grabbed her jaw, forcing her mouth open.

"Be quick, and don't kill her," Joshua instructed, walking towards the door. The scene was too bloody for his taste.

At the door, he added, "After you're done, dump her in some small village. Don't let her show up in Golombia."

Such a person shouldn't upset Evelyn.

As he left the hospital room, painful screams followed. Joshua thought the world would have one more mute person after today.

Leaving the hospital, Joshua called Evelyn, "Evelyn, did you go to work today?"

He knew she hadn't, but he didn't want her to know he had been to the hospital.

"I heard you moved. Why didn't you invite me over to take a look?" Joshua smiled, his gaze distant.

"Alright, I'm coming over now."

After hanging up, Joshua drove to Evelyn's new place.

Evelyn sighed after hanging up with Joshua. She didn't refuse him. Although she had turned him down before, their relationship wasn't at the point of cutting ties. His request was reasonable.

She got up to tidy the living room, but then Aidan called.

When she answered, Aidan got straight to the point. "I've sent all the information about Lily to your email. Take a look and call me back."

"Okay." She could hear the seriousness in Aidan's voice and knew it was complicated.

She hung up and immediately checked her email. As she read through the information, her expression grew grave.

She hadn't expected Lily to be so complicated.
