"Let's go inside and sit," Wade said, leading Evelyn into the banquet hall.
Lucia, however, didn't look too happy and hurried over. "Evelyn, why are you just arriving?"
Evelyn looked at her coldly, without a hint of a smile on her face.
"Wade, let me take Evelyn inside." Lucia reached out to pull Evelyn away from Wade.
She was about to get engaged and didn't want Evelyn to cause trouble.
Wade glanced at her and sneered, "As you wish."
Perhaps at this moment, Lucia thought marrying him was a good idea, but after the engagement, Wade would show Lucia what real suffering was.
Evelyn followed behind Lucia, heading towards the banquet hall.

"Anyway, all the noble families of Golombia are here today. If you don't care about the reputation of the Kyte family and the Allen family, feel free to cause chaos."Lucia added.
Evelyn stayed silent. In reality, Lucia's concerns were unnecessary; Evelyn had never planned to take any action.
On an occasion like today, Evelyn had to take into account not only the Kyte family but also the Allen family and Wade's decision.
Wade's choice to marry Lucia indicated that family honor held greater importance in his eyes. If Evelyn caused any issues, Wade likely wouldn't be happy.
Lucia didn't say much to Evelyn as she guided her into the hall and then returned to greet the guests at the door.
The crowded hall prompted Evelyn to take Ruby to a quiet corner for some privacy.
"Ruby, you don't seem very happy today?" Evelyn handed her a drink, looking at her with some confusion.
On the way to the hotel, Ruby stayed silent, leaving Evelyn unsure of her thoughts.
"Not really, it's just my first time in such a setting, feeling a bit out of place."
In Moris City, the Kyte family was regarded as barely decent, but in Colombia, they were considered insignificant.
Evelyn sighed. "Ruby, it's been a while since we last met, and you've really improved, even fooling me.""Evey, I..."
