Chapter 435 None of Your Business

After five long hours, the operation at the hospital, finally came to an end. The good news was that Mr. Hamilton was still alive, but the sad part was that no one knew when Mr. Hamilton would wake up. Simply put, it was highly likely that he would become a vegetable.

This was a huge blow to Greg. Just the day before, his grandfather was fine, but now he lay in bed as a vegetable. How could he accept it?

Evelyn stood beside him, looking at the elderly man in the intensive care unit, feeling complicated as well. She couldn't help but regret coming on this trip. If it wasn't for her, Greg's parents wouldn't have misunderstood, and this wouldn't have happened today.

She felt guilty and apologized, “I’m sorry”…"

"It's none of your business." Greg calmed down. He wasn't the type to be unreasonable.

"Grandpa Doyle will definitely wake up," Evelyn said, although she knew that it might not make Greg feel much better, but she had to say it.

Greg nodded and didn't continue standing at the door of the ICU. Instead, he turned and walked outside the hospital.

Evelyn followed him, feeling worried. “What are you going to do?”

"Do what I promised, I’m going to make certain people pay.” Greg gritted his teeth, filled with hatred.

0see reason. If he wasn't allowed to vent at this time, things might become even worse. Greg stopped in his tracks and looked at Evelyn, feeling somewhat embarrassed.

"Given my grandfather's current condition, it seems there's no way to avoid taking revenge. Now that this has happened, what are you planning to do?"

"No worries, after all, I also have the Kite family's matter to attend to this time. I'll help them find an office space first, as for the rest..." She pondered for a moment and then smiled, saying, "Let's talk about it later. Perhaps it's better not to know."

Although she felt a little regretful, the situation had already unfolded, and there was nothing she could do to change it; she could only try to accept it.

“Well, should I send you back to the hotel?” Greg suggested.

Evelyn quickly shook her head. "No need, no need. You go on and attend to your own matters. Mr. Hamilton's sudden situation may cause unrest within the Hamilton family. You have plenty to deal with. Don't worry about me. I can take care of myself."

Greg seemed to mature instantly. Without any pleasantries, he said, "Alright then, I'll go attend to my tasks. If you need anything, just give me a call."

"Alright." Evelyn nodded, watching Greg get into the car and drive away.

It wasn't until the car disappeared that Evelyn let out a deep sigh, glancing back at the hospital where there were people arranged, by Greg, to look after things. She didn't need to stay here to take care of anything. It would be better to first deal with the Kite family's matter. With this in mind, she hailed a cab and left.

At the Columbia Airport, Dermot walked outside while listening to Todd's report. Getting into the car waiting at the airport entrance, Todd refreshed his internet browser and couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh, Mr. Hamilton Sr. has entered the hospital."

Upon hearing this, Dermot snatched the tablet from Todd's hand and carefully read the news.
After a moment, his face turned cold. "Call her and ask where she is."

Todd took out his phone, and only then did he realize, "Mr. Doyle, why don't you call Ms. Kyte yourself?"

Dermot didn't say anything; he just gave Todd a look that could kill.

"I'll call!" Todd dared not ask any more questions and quickly dialed Evelyn's number.

Unfortunately, at that moment, Evelyn was busy discussing office space with someone and didn't hear her phone ringing.

"No one's answering..." Todd weakly spoke, afraid that he would face a storm in the next second.

However, the storm he imagined didn't come. Dermot simply let out a soft sigh. "Let's go to the hotel first."
