"I'll give it to you." Oliver quickly agreed, fearing that she would be unhappy.
Natalie smiled at his words and reluctantly kissed the corner of Oliver's mouth, saying, "Then it's settled. No backing out."
"No backing out, I promise." Oliver's heart bloomed with joy. Now, even if Natalie asked for his life, he would probably hand it over willingly.
Perhaps Oliver could never have imagined that his seemingly frivolous decision today would ultimately lead to the downfall of the Stanley family.
Evelyn received a call from Aidan.
When she received the call and found out that the other person would be going abroad for a while, it had been a whole week since they last met.
She thought that after that night, Aidan would completely let go and they could go back to how things were before, pretending like none of it had happened.
But when she found out he was going abroad, Evelyn knew that Aidan hadn't let go, otherwise he wouldn't have chosen to leave the country as a way of escape.
In Aidan's villa, Evelyn watched the busy people in the kitchen, opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
Niall walked over and patted her shoulder, comforting her.
The two of them turned and walked back to the living room, but Evelyn still couldn't fully accept it. "Does he really have to go abroad?"
"Evelyn, you know, for Aidan, it's not about going or not going abroad, it's about temporarily avoiding," Niall glanced at the man cooking in the kitchen and sighed helplessly.
Evelyn fell silent. Of course she understood this reasoning. She just didn't want to accept it.
Seemingly aware of what she was thinking, Niall continued, "I thought he could let go."
"At first, I believed that too, but now I understand that it's harder for him to let go than reaching the sky," Niall no longer tried to persuade Aidan, since he wanted to escape, then let him escape.
Niall said, "I know your character, it's impossible for you to accept him, so just let him go, no need to persuade anything."
Besides, they couldn't persuade him anyway.

Soon, Aidan came out from the kitchen and saw the two in the living room. He smiled and said to them, "Come help."
"Okay." The two nodded, exchanged a glance, then stood up and walked towards the kitchen.
The meal was enjoyed happily, at least that's what it seemed on the surface.
But in reality, each of them had different thoughts, but none of them showed it, not wanting to worry each other.
After dinner, Evelyn looked up. "So when is Aidan planning to leave?"
