Chapter 1349 Extra: Aidan and Phoebe (24)
"Get lost, now! You ain't welcome here!" Evelyn and Phoebe rolled up to the pool just in time to catch Aidan yelling at Sienna. They were both kinda taken aback; Aidan rarely got this heated, and they were curious about who this Sienna chick was.
Phoebe hustled over, a bit worried about Aidan. "What's going on, Aidan?" Evelyn followed, standing next to Aidan, eyeing Sienna.
Aidan was seriously ticked off. "Nothing. She's just some nobody."
Sienna looked pissed when she heard that. "Aidan, I'm your mother!"
Evelyn's jaw dropped, and Phoebe was just as stunned.
Phoebe thought, 'Wait, isn't Aidan supposed to be an orphan? Edwin took him in and raised him. How's his mom showing up now?'
"I don't have a mother," Aidan snapped. He'd given up on that dream ages ago. When he needed a mom, she was MIA. Now that he didn't need anyone, she suddenly showed up, like, seriously?
Sienna looked hurt but tried to keep it together. "I've been searching for you all these years. You were kidnapped by traffickers. Your dad and I never stopped looking. As soon as I got a lead, I rushed over to see you."
She sounded pretty genuine, kinda tugged at the heartstrings.
Evelyn frowned, skeptical. "You said Aidan was kidnapped by traffickers? But my grandpa, Edwin Morgans, found him on the street. Are you sure you're not making this up?"
Sienna's face twisted with anger. She glared at Evelyn. "Are you saying Edwin took Aidan?"
"Absolutely!" Evelyn nodded.
"I think Aidan was kidnapped!" Sienna shot back. She'd spent years looking for him.
"No way," Evelyn denied immediately. "Edwin's not like that."
"Who knows? If he wasn't kidnapped, why didn't Edwin call the cops when he found a kid on the street?" If Edwin had called the police, Sienna might've found Aidan ages ago.
The more she thought about it, the more convinced she was that Edwin had kidnapped Aidan. It was the only thing that made sense.
Evelyn was stumped. She was sure Edwin wasn't that kind of guy, but she couldn't explain why he didn't call the cops back then.
Niall, who'd been watching, couldn't stay quiet anymore. Even though he'd found his real parents, Edwin was still his grandpa. He glared at Sienna. "I was taken in by Edwin too. Are you gonna say I was kidnapped?"
Sienna hesitated. "Not impossible..."
"That's ridiculous," Niall cut her off. "No matter how Aidan got lost, don't you have any responsibility? Edwin raised him well. That alone proves he wouldn't kidnap anyone. I think you probably ditched Aidan back then, and now that he's doing well, you want a piece of it."
He'd seen this kind of drama before, even with his own parents. Now that he was successful, they wanted back in his life, but he shut them down and decided to cut ties for good.
