Chapter 1398 Extra: Aidan and Phoebe (73)
During the day that followed, Aidan frequently visited the Doyle Group. To outsiders, it seemed like he was discussing a collaboration with Dermot, but the reality was not like that.

Todd served Aidan a cup of coffee. Given Aiden's frequent visits, Todd didn't even need to ask what he wanted for a drink.
There was also a cup of coffee in front of Dermot. Outsiders believed that Aidan was trying to persuade Dermot to let the Lowe Group participate in the project, but that wasn't the case at all.
The so-called collaboration was a scam from the beginning. If the Lowe Group got involved in that project, they wouldn't come out of it without losing some assets.
Aidan had been plotting for so long just to trick the Lowe Group into that project.
But since he was going to put on a show, he decided to go all out.
Aidan told the people at the Lowe Group how great the project was, and Dermot naturally had to act like he didn't want the Lowe Group to join. Otherwise, why would he share such a profitable project with others for no reason?
"Is it about time?" Dermot spoke first. Aidan had been coming to the Doyle Group for quite a while now. As his brother-in-law, Dermot had no reason to keep refusing.
Aidan finished his coffee and nodded, "Yeah, it's about time."
"Are you really sure about this? If you weren't against the Lowe Family, they could actually be a great asset to you," Dermot said, smiling at Aidan. If it were him, he wouldn't do what Aidan was doing.
In Dermot's eyes, if it were him, given the power of the Lowe Family, rather than destroy it completely, he would choose to use it for his own benefit, just like he did with the Doyle Family.
He didn't choose to destroy the Doyle Family but made Randy hand it over to him.
Now, he was doing quite well being the highest authority in the Doyle Group.
Aidan understood what Dermot meant, but he despised the Lowe Family so much that he was genuinely disgusted by the idea of taking over anything from them.
He remarked, "Even without the Lowe Family, I can still make something of myself."
He ran the Brooks Group, and with a few more years of management, it might even catch up to the Doyle Group.
"Alright then, let's proceed with the plan. But be prepared; Sienna isn't stupid. If the project fails, she'll be the first to suspect you. If she gets desperate, you could be in danger," Dermot reminded.
He wasn't someone really caring about others' safety, but since Aidan was Evelyn's brother, he offered a kind reminder.
"I know," Aiden said. If he were afraid of danger, he wouldn't have come up with this plan in the first place.
Dermot didn't say anything more. "Alright, you can go back to the Lowe Group and have Sienna come to sign the contract."
"Okay, thanks." If it weren't for Dermot's help in designing this trap, it would have been difficult for Aidan to pull it off alone.
Dermot waved his hand dismissively, saying, "You're my brother-in-law. No need to say that.."
Aidan got up and left the Doyle Group.
That day, most people at the Lowe Group knew that Aidan had secured a collaboration with the Doyle Group, and the Lowe Group was about to take on a big project.
If the project succeeded, everyone at the Lowe Group would receive a substantial year-end bonus.
To the employees, it didn't matter who ultimately inherited the Lowe Group; they only cared about how much profit they could get.
Clearly, if it would be Aiden to take over the Lowe Group, that sounded a pretty good choice for now.
