Chapter 1200: Who Is She
After Blake bounced, Bella realized she needed a shower but had no clothes. She sighed, and then there was another knock. Blake popped back in. "Hey, Bella, there are some new clothes in the wardrobe. You can rock those for now, and we'll hit the stores later to get you what you really want."
Blake had no clue what Bella's style was anymore. So, before heading home, he told his crew to stock up the wardrobe with all kinds of outfits.
But whatever, they had all the time in the world to figure each other out again.
Blake dipped out, and Bella opened the wardrobe, feeling all kinds of grateful when she saw the fresh threads lined up.
This was the guy she loved. Even after all these years, he was still thoughtful and sweet.
Bella grabbed some PJs and hit the shower. Afterward, she crashed on the bed and had her first real peaceful sleep in forever.
While they were catching some Z's, Evelyn was grinding away.
Oscar had just handed her a list of people Nathaniel had offed over the years. Staring at the long list, she finally felt like Nathaniel deserved whatever was coming to him.
She started digging by reaching out to the victims' families. She wanted to give Nathaniel a gift so big he'd never escape Golombia.
Nathaniel hadn't figured out that the Bella in Seabrook City was a fake yet, so Evelyn was hustling on her investigation, with Dermot backing her up. With their two powerful families teaming up, there was almost nothing they couldn't uncover.
A week later, Nathaniel rolled back into Seabrook City. As soon as he landed, he headed straight to the villa.
He barged into Bella's room and saw the woman chilling on the balcony.
He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
Thank God, Bella was still there.
He walked over and stood next to the impostor. "Why didn't you bounce with Evelyn?"
The woman tensed up but quickly played it cool. "I've gotten used to it over the years. This is fine."
Her voice and tone were so spot-on that Nathaniel didn't suspect a thing.
"Really? I thought you'd be dying to leave." Nathaniel tried to catch a glimpse of her face, trying to see if she was lying.
Her long hair covered her face, blocking his view, which ticked him off. "Look up, look at me!"
The woman didn't budge, and Nathaniel got pissed.
He grabbed her by the neck, forcing her to look up. "You..."
Before he could finish, his eyes went wide in shock.
"Ah!"
The next second, he tossed the fake Bella to the ground. "Who the hell are you!"
"I'm Bella," the woman shot back without missing a beat.
She had always been Bella—everyone said so.
"You're not Bella!" Nathaniel wasn't dumb or blind. Even though he and Bella had been distant for years, they had lived together for decades. No way he wouldn't notice if she was swapped out.
The woman kept her head down, staying silent.
Nathaniel was fuming. He stormed out and went straight to Oscar, who hadn't left yet.
"What the hell is going on? Who's that chick upstairs?" He grabbed Oscar by the collar, veins popping on his forehead, showing no mercy.
Cursing inside, Oscar kept his face innocent. "Dad, what do you mean? Isn't the woman upstairs Bella?"
