Chapter 265 We're Not Familiar

Natalie didn't care anymore about what they were saying. She only knew Dermot was here, and it was highly likely that Evelyn was with him.

Her good mood was instantly shattered, and she looked up at Oliver across from her. "Since Dermot is here, we should at least go over and say hello. With the support of the Stanley family, the Stanley Group should be able to dominate more quickly."

"Natalie, let's not go over there," Oliver wasn't stupid. Dermot and Evelyn didn't like them, so approaching them would only make them disliked even more.

Natalie glared at him disdainfully. "What are you afraid of? Is he going to eat you?"

With that, regardless of whether Oliver agreed or not, she dragged him over and stood in front of Dermot and Evelyn, with a smile on her face.

"Dermot, are you and Evelyn also eating here? It's such a coincidence. Oliver and I are also eating here," she sweetly spoke, even changing Evelyn to "Evelyn," proving her inner strength.

Instead, Evelyn felt uncomfortable, with goosebumps rising all over her body. "Miss Barns, I don't know you, so please call me Ms. Kyte."

"Evelyn, we've known each other for so long. How can you say we're not familiar?" Natalie looked at her, with the same meaning. She wouldn't change her way of addressing her.

Evelyn was speechless, but she couldn't do anything about her. She couldn't exactly shut her mouth, could she?

She simply turned her head, looked outside the window, and pretended she didn't exist.

With her attitude, Dermot's attitude couldn't be good either. "What do you want?"

"Nothing. We just happened to run into each other. Oliver said we should come and say hello, so here we are," Natalie replied, giving Oliver a push with her hand.

Oliver's heart was in complete despair, but he still forced himself to look at Dermot. "I thought it would be rare to encounter Mr. Doyle, so how could I not come and say hello?"

"But rest assured, Mr. Doyle, Natalie and I won't disturb you. We'll just say hello and leave."

Although the Stanley family in Moris City was not bad, it was still inferior to the Doyle family. So naturally, Dermot didn't need to give any weight to them.

"Um, are we done?" Dermot asked.

"Huh?" Oliver was taken aback, but quickly reacted, saying, "Yes, we're done. Let's go."

"Dermot..." Natalie wanted to say something, but was forcefully pulled away by Oliver.

Once the two of them left, Evelyn felt the air clear and couldn't help teasing, "I didn't expect Natalie to still have feelings for you. She's married to Oliver now, and yet she still comes to find you."

"That's her business, I have no feelings for her whatsoever," Dermot explained, fearing that Evelyn would misunderstand.

Evelyn smiled, knowing that she would never be unreasonable.

On the other side, Natalie was being dragged away by Oliver, her face darkened with anger, "Useless waste!"

"Natalie..." Oliver felt upset in his heart, saying, "I know you like Dermot, which is why you also hate Evelyn."

"But you married me, and I don't expect you to like me, but I hope you can forget about Dermot. He has no feelings for you, and you should be able to see that."

Who could bear this kind of grievance if they didn't truly like someone?

Unfortunately, his sincere words were not taken seriously by Natalie, who replied, "It's none of your business. Besides, just because I want to see him, does it mean I like him?"

"I clearly just want you to have a good relationship with him and use his influence to help us gain ownership of the Stanley Group. Do you understand?"

This was not a lie, she did have that intention.

But to say that she had no ulterior motive would be impossible.
