Chapter 120 Enough
Dermot is currently the largest shareholder of Moris Hospital, and he had made arrangements in advance. So when Evelyn arrived at the hospital, many doctors and nurses were already waiting at the entrance, and even the hospital director personally rushed over, proving the special status of this unconscious old man.
However, Evelyn didn't have the mood to think about these things. She got off the ambulance and asked directly, "Is the operating room ready?"
"It's already prepared," someone answered.
Satisfied, Evelyn nodded and turned to the medical staff in the car. "Take the patient to the operating room immediately and prepare for the surgery."
With that said, she also walked towards the operating room, passing by the hospital director along the way. He grabbed her and asked, "How is the situation? Are you confident?"
Although he knew how capable Evelyn was, the old man's identity was just too special.
He had to worry.
"Don't worry. I will do my best," she said, and without saying much to the dean, she walked straight towards the operating room, preparing for the upcoming surgery.
At the same time, at the Colombia Airport.
On a private plane, a young man held red wine in his left hand and casually tapped on the laptop keyboard with his right hand. A detailed personal profile quickly appeared in his sight.
"Mr. Hamilton , the plane will take off in five minutes," the butler approached and said softly.
The young man nodded and closed his computer, "Hmm."
"My lord, I really don't understand why you agreed to let the doctors from Moris City perform Mr. Hamilton ‘s surgery, especially such a major operation like a craniotomy," the butler couldn't help but speak, inevitably worried.
The young man leaned back on the leather sofa, glanced out the window, and said lightly, "What else? Watch the old man die?"
"We can contact the best doctors in Colombia..."
"Haven't you heard the doctor say that time is limited?" The young man glanced at the butler, his dark eyes revealing a hint of coldness.
The butler felt a chill down his spine, but still mustered the courage to say, "Who knows if she said it on purpose..."
"Enough!" The young man's voice was stern, and then he narrowed his eyes, "I trust her."
The butler was surprised. Mr. Hamilton actually believed in someone? It was truly unheard of.
Moris Hospital, outside the operating room, there were people waiting, not just Dermot, but also others who came to show concern upon learning that the old man was part of the Hamilton family.
When Evelyn came out of the surgery, she was bewildered by the crowd of people in front of her. Why were these people waiting here?
"Is everything okay?" Dermot asked, his eyes filled with worry.
Evelyn nodded, "The operation was successful. There is currently no immediate danger to his life, so you can rest assured."
"I was asking about you," Dermot spoke, his gaze falling on Evelyn.
Evelyn was taken aback, but quickly reacted, "I'm fine."
"Well, that's good," Dermot nodded and put away his worries.
A group of people surrounded Evelyn, all asking about the old Hamilton's condition, making her a bit overwhelmed for a moment.
"My lord!”
A man in a suit noticed the arrival of the young Hamilton for the first time and immediately ran over in excitement, "You came so quickly. The surgery just finished, and the old Hamilton is currently not in immediate danger."
The young man nodded with no emotion.
He walked up to Evelyn, showing a smile, "Dr. Kyte? Thank you for saving him."
"Never mind. Treating and saving people is what I should do," Evelyn looked at this man in front of her, his appearance no less handsome than Dermot. She seemed to be encountering more and more handsome men lately.
