Chapter 726 Saving an Enemy?

Eugene, who had been silent with a stern face, finally spoke up. "Walter, I believe the others won't just let the Kyte family and the Allen family swallow us up. It's not in their best interest."

"The families in Golombia need balance. It's been maintained well for so many years, but now they want to break it, so the others won't just stand by and do nothing."

Dora nodded repeatedly. "Eugene is right. That's what I think too. Let's contact the other families right now. There will be a way."

"You all make a good point." Walter nodded, but the uneasy feeling in his heart remained.

He wondered if things were so easy to resolve, why would the Kyte family and the Allen family go to such great lengths?

But right now, he had no better choice. He could only take it one step at a time. At worst, he would contact the other families and counterattack the Kyte family. The Roberts family wouldn't take any profit, giving it all away. He didn't believe anyone would be tempted by that.

While the Roberts family was still discussing teaming up with others, the Kyte family and the Allen family had completely stopped hiding their intentions. Their actions were getting faster, clearly not wanting to give the Roberts family any chance to seek help.

However, Evelyn didn't pay attention to any of this. The next day, after getting off work from the hospital, she went straight to the agreed location, but she still didn't know who had challenged her.

The meeting place was a grassy area in the suburbs of Golombia, quiet and convenient for them to spar.

Evelyn hadn't waited long when she heard footsteps behind her.

She turned around and saw a woman, surprise flashing in her eyes.

"Are you Evelyn Kyte?" The woman asked before Evelyn could speak.

Evelyn nodded. "And you are?"

"Jennifer. I learned martial arts from Alvin Weaver."

When she heard this name, Evelyn was stunned for a moment.

She remembered Gary had mentioned this name before, it seemed she was a friend of him. Could this be a misunderstanding?

Thinking of this, she didn't rush to make a move and said, "I learned martial arts from Gary Melville. You should know him."

Jennifer was indeed taken aback. "So you're Mr. Melville's disciple."

"So, can I ask why you're challenging me? If I remember correctly, we've never met." Since they hadn't met, it meant there was no enmity. The other party had no reason to challenge her suddenly.

Jennifer was silent for a moment, then turned around. When she reappeared, there was another person with her.

Evelyn found this person somewhat familiar, but she couldn't quite place who she was.

She didn't ask, waiting for Jennifer to explain.

"Both Nathan and I learned martial arts from Alvin. She is Nathan's sister, and I'm here to challenge you on her behalf," Jennifer said.

Originally, her relationship with Nathan wasn't that good, but since they learned martial arts together, she couldn't refuse when Emerald asked for her help. So, she issued a challenge to Evelyn.

However, knowing that Evelyn learned martial arts from Gary, she felt it was normal for Nathan to lose to Evelyn.

Nathan's sister?

Evelyn remembered that her name was Emerald. When Niall helped her investigate why Nathan attacked her, they found out he was bribed by Natalie to save his sister. At that time, she learned that Emerald's surgery fees were insufficient, so she had Niall transfer the fees to the hospital.

Did she save an enemy?

Evelyn found it somewhat amusing and looked at Emerald. "You seem to hate me a lot."

It wasn't that she was particularly smart, but Emerald's expression was too obvious. It seemed that Emerald was so angry that she was almost ready to bite her.
