In the evening, Aidan drove back to the villa as usual. He got out of the car, went straight to his room, took out his phone, and called Evelyn back.
Earlier, when Evelyn called him, Sienna was right in front of him. He was afraid of arousing Sienna's suspicion, so he didn't answer the call. It wasn't until he got home that he dared to call Evelyn back.
The call was quickly connected, and from Evelyn, Aidan learned that Phoebe already knew everything, which gave him a headache.
"Okay, I'll come over right away. Keep an eye on her and don't let her go out," Aidan said. He knew that if Phoebe was left alone at this time, it would be very dangerous. Sienna hadn't given up on targeting her, but she hadn't found an opportunity because Phoebe was with Evelyn.
After finishing the call with Evelyn, Aidan got up to go downstairs and leave, but he stopped before reaching the door.
Since Sienna was suspicious of him, she would definitely have someone watching him. If he rashly went to Evelyn's place, it would only increase her suspicion.
He had worked hard to get to this point and was about to be appointed as the vice president of the Lowe Group. He didn't want to ruin everything now. But he couldn't ignore Phoebe either.
Aidan turned back to his room, turned off all the lights in the villa, and stood on the second-floor balcony, secretly looking outside. He saw a car parked outside the villa, which seemed to have been there since he got home and hadn't left.
He was almost certain that the people in the car were sent by Sienna to monitor him. Fortunately, they were only guarding the front door. He could sneak out through the back door, but he couldn't drive and would need someone to pick him up.
In the end, he called Dermot. Currently, only Evelyn and Dermot knew about his plan. Evelyn had to watch over Phoebe, so Dermot was the only one who could come to pick him up.
Aidan hadn't told Niall about the happenings in the Lowe family. He didn't want Niall to worry, nor did he want him to get involved.
When Dermot's car quietly arrived at the back door of the villa, Aidan was already waiting there. Seeing the car, he quickly got in and left the villa.
In the car, Aidan looked at Dermot, feeling a bit awkward. "Sorry to trouble you."
"It's no trouble at all, just a small favor," Dermot said nonchalantly. He and Evelyn were now married, so they were family and supposed to help each other.
Moreover, he also hoped that Aidan and Phoebe could be together, so Aidan wouldn't be thinking about Evelyn.
The car quickly arrived at Dermot's villa. With Aidan's arrival, Dermot finally found an opportunity to be alone with Evelyn. He took her out of the villa, leaving Aidan and Phoebe alone inside.
In the living room, Phoebe sat on the sofa. She knew Aidan had come in but refused to look up at him, clearly still angry.
Aidan felt a bit helpless but still walked over and sat next to Phoebe. "You know everything?"
"What else? How long were you planning to keep lying to me?" Phoebe said angrily, looking up at Aidan with eyes full of fury.
Aidan didn't try to defend himself. He said, "I'm sorry. I lied to you."
Phoebe was stunned to hear Aidan admit it so easily, thinking, 'Why does he admit it just like that? Shouldn't he explain himself?'
While she was puzzled, Aidan continued, "I know you're very angry right now, but I had no other choice. If I don't resolve the troubles of the Lowe family, not only will I be in danger, but you and Theodore will also be at risk. So I had to do this."
