Chapter 1244: I Wish You Were Dead
Ruby locked eyes with him and blurted out, "Yeah, I fell for him!"
"Shut up!" Craig looked like he'd been hit by a truck, his eyes going red in an instant.
But Ruby just laughed. "What? Can't handle the truth? Is it that you can't stand me saying I love him, or that I don't love you?"
"Ruby!" Craig was on the brink of losing it. She was pushing all his buttons, driving him nuts.
Still, he couldn't bring himself to hurt her.
Ruby seemed totally unfazed by his pain and repeated, "Where's Alex? Craig, if anything happens to him, I swear I won't let you off, even if it kills me."
"Is that so? Too bad you're too late." Craig sneered, letting go of Ruby's hand like he had a plan all figured out.
Ruby's face went pale, her eyes wide with shock. "What are you saying?"
"I mean, Alex is already dead. By now, he's probably fish food." He said.
Ruby, already pale, staggered and almost couldn't stand.
Craig watched, wanting to help her, but in the end, he didn't move.
He thought, 'Do you really love him that much?'
Ruby murmured, "Is Alex dead?"
Before coming here, Ruby's biggest fear was hearing this.
But now, Craig just dropped this bomb on her, not caring if she could handle it.
He was ruthless, truly ruthless.
She had finally escaped him and decided to start fresh, but why couldn't he just let her go?
With reddened eyes, she looked at Craig, sneering, "Isn't it me you want to torture? Why not come after me? If you have the guts, kill me. Why go after Alex? He is innocent."
As she spoke, she charged at Craig, hitting him without hesitation.
Unfortunately, her punches were too weak; they didn't hurt him at all.
"If I want to torture you, of course, I have to go after the people you care about." Craig looked at her coldly, "You care about Alex, so I want him dead."
"You want to start over? Dream on!" Craig sneered.
Right now, he was like a demon, clutching Ruby as she desperately tried to escape, refusing to let her go.
Ruby cried loudly.
She cried so heartbreakingly that Craig felt a deep pain in his heart. "Ruby, as long as you promise to stay with me, I'll treat you well from now on. This kind of thing won't happen again."
After saying that, he stepped forward and hugged Ruby.
He said so much, but all he really wanted was for Ruby to come back to him.
Unfortunately, he didn't understand the depth of Ruby's hatred for him at this moment.
So, when the knife in Ruby's hand plunged into his chest, Craig felt not only shock but also an indescribable sadness.
Craig fell, looking at Ruby in front of him, questioning, "Do you really hate me that much?"
"Yes! I wish you were dead!" If Craig were dead, she wouldn't be in so much pain, and Alex wouldn't have died.
Ruby regretted it; she should have perished with Craig earlier, so he wouldn't have hurt innocent Alex.
Craig gazed at the knife lodged in his chest, his eyes bloodshot. "If you really want me dead, then come and push the knife all the way into my heart. The way it is now, I won't die."
"Craig! Don't think I won't dare!" Ruby glared at him viciously.
Ruby had never harmed anyone. When she acted just now, she had already used all her strength.
