Chapter 766 You're All I Have Left

Late at night, in the hotel suite, Dora poured herself a glass of red wine. She tilted her head back and gulped it down without even tasting it.
Dora couldn't help but laugh out loud when she looked at the bustling city outside the window. She muttered to herself, "Dora, you are victorious all your life, but you ended up with nothing."
She was unwilling to accept it, but what could she do?
The Roberts family had fallen, Blake was divorcing her, and she had nothing left.
By the time Lucia arrived, Dora was already drunk.
She said, "Lucia, you're all I have left."
"Mom, what on earth is going on? Why are you staying in a hotel?" Lucia had received a call from Dora, who only asked her to come over without explaining what had happened. She had no idea about the situation.
Dora pulled her to sit beside her and said with a bitter smile, "Blake wants to divorce me."
"What?" Lucia was shocked and couldn't believe it. "Divorce? What happened?"
"Is it Evelyn? Did she say something to Blake?" Lucia immediately looked for someone else to blame, never considering that it might be Dora's fault.
Dora didn't deny it. In her view, it was all because of Evelyn.
If Evelyn hadn't exposed everything, Blake wouldn't be divorcing her.
Upon seeing Dora's silence, Lucia knew it was a tacit admission. Her face turned sour. "Evelyn! I'm going to kill her."
Dora stopped her and said, "Forget it, you're no match for Evelyn."
They both knew this very well.
Lucia's face was still pale, and she felt powerless. "So, are you really going to divorce Blake?"
"Probably. Blake is very determined this time." Dora knew that any one of those incidents could make Blake furious, and now there was no room for negotiation.
Lucia couldn't help but cry. She hugged Dora, then kept asking, "How did it come to this? How did it suddenly become like this?"
Lucia didn't understand. They were still a family before. Even though Blake and Dora often argued, Lucia still felt happy.
But ever since Evelyn came back, everything changed.
"Don't cry." Dora comforted her. "Luckily, you have a good future ahead."
Lucia felt even sadder and cried louder when she heard it.
"Lucia, I can't help you anymore. You must hold on to Wade and make him marry you, or you're really done for," Dora reminded her.
If Lucia couldn't marry into the Allen family, their future would be unimaginably miserable.
Lucia knew it very well.
Now that the Roberts family was gone, if Wade didn't marry her, Lucia feared she would grow old alone.
With Wade's attitude towards her, getting him to marry her seemed quite difficult.
Dora said, as if she knew Lucia's difficulty, "I know Wade doesn't treat you well now, but at least he hasn't kicked you out, so you still have a chance.
"What you need to do now is try to get pregnant with Wade's child. Even if he doesn't want to, the Allen family will force him to marry you."
As long as Lucia married Wade, regardless of whether Blake accepted her or not, Lucia would still be Mrs. Allen of the Allen family, a completely different status from now.
Lucia wanted to cry even more.
Since moving into Wade's villa, she had been busy cooking and cleaning every day, keeping everything in perfect order. But what did it matter?
Wade wouldn't even look at her. She hadn't even been inside Wade's room once.
In this situation, she couldn't get pregnant at all.
