Chapter 979: You Don't Mind That I've Been Divorced

Evelyn dragged Sarah into the park, saying, "Take your time; you'll see."

Sarah, confused, was led to the park's center where a setup awaited.

Red roses and balloons stood out against the snow.

Sarah stopped, looking at Evelyn, who smiled warmly.

Sarah felt a chill. Just when Evelyn thought Sarah had figured it out, Sarah asked, "Are we setting up for an event?"

Evelyn called out, "Sarah."

Sarah continued, "This is a good idea. First snow, these decorations—we could have a fashion show and launch our new products."

But then she frowned. "But the red flowers and balloons don't match our products. People might think it's a wedding."

Sarah complained, leaving Evelyn speechless.

At that moment, music started playing. While Evelyn was stunned, Sarah nodded. "There's even music? Well-prepared."

Evelyn decided not to explain anymore. She believed once Keith showed up, Sarah would get it.

As the music played, Keith walked toward Sarah. Evelyn stepped back to the cabin. The snowy scene was beautiful, but she wasn't used to the cold.

"What are you doing here?" Sarah asked Keith, puzzled.

Keith smiled, "What do you think?"

Sarah glanced around, saw Evelyn and Dermot in the cabin, and looked at the decorations. Even if she was slow, she could guess by now.

"Sarah, you've rejected me many times, but I never gave up. Today, with the first snow, I want to express my feelings."

"I never mentioned this, but from the moment I saw you, I was captivated. I couldn't believe someone so remarkable existed."

Keith continued, "The more I learned about you, the more I felt for you. I regret not meeting you sooner."

"But it's okay. It's not too late now. We have a lot of time ahead."

Keith said firmly, "Sarah, will you be my girlfriend? Let me take care of you."

He took out a gift, not a ring, but a necklace.

He planned to save the ring for a future proposal.

Sarah's eyes reddened. Despite her usual indifference, she was touched.

After her divorce from Nolan, she never thought she'd meet someone she liked again or that someone would like her this much. She felt unsure and fearful of love.

Yet, as she looked into Keith's resolute eyes, she thought, 'Why not give it a shot?'

"You don't mind that I've been divorced?" Sarah asked.

Keith shook his head. "I only regret not meeting you sooner."

If he had met Sarah sooner, he would never have let her suffer so much.

"But I'm older than you..." Sarah voiced her concerns.

"I've never let that bother me. Those things don't matter to me," Keith interjected. He really never cared about those things.
