"Do I need to tell you how bad the situation is?" Francis raised his head and looked at her, his gaze cold.
The police had already called him, saying that they caught the killer, but Francis knew very well that the person was just a hired hand and not the one behind it.
He suspected Evelyn, even Dermot was a suspect in his eyes, but was his daughter in front of him really not worth suspecting?

"Dermot?" Francis scoffed, mockingly looking at her, "He would marry you?"
"You don't need to worry about that. If I can make him marry me, wouldn't it be the same for you?" she asked, her tone not as pleasant as before.
"Of course, marrying Dermot would be even better." He nodded, not caring about Natalie's intentions.
