Aidan and Sienna locked eyes, while Phoebe stood by, too shocked to react.
Phoebe thought, 'What is going on? Is Aidan returning to the Lowe family? But didn't he already refuse before?'
She wanted to ask but felt it wasn't the right time, so she held back, planning to ask after Sienna left.
"Alright, since you're willing to return to the Lowe family, come back with me to the Lowe Manor," Sienna decided to take Aidan back. Even if he had other plans, she wanted him under her watch. She didn't believe he could pull any tricks in front of her.
Aidan showed no intention of getting up and leaving. Instead, he said, "There's no need to stay at the Lowe Manor. I'll report to the Lowe Group tomorrow."
Sienna frowned and was about to say something when Aidan cut her off, "If you think that's not acceptable, then forget it. I don't really want to return to the Lowe family anyway."
He had his own plans. Returning to the Lowe family would make things smoother for him, but if he couldn't, it wouldn't be a big deal—just more time-consuming.
"Fine, we'll do it your way. Report to the Lowe Group tomorrow," Sienna finally agreed. "But let me make it clear, although you'll report to the Lowe Group, I won't assign you a position initially. You'll stay by my side so I can assess your abilities."
She also feared Aidan might do something to harm the Lowe Group, so she wouldn't trust him in the short term.
"Suit yourself," Aidan had no objections. He was confident in his abilities and well aware of the Lowe family's current situation. He was sure Sienna would eventually trust him.
After discussing business, Sienna turned her attention to Phoebe. Although Aidan and Phoebe weren't married, she felt it wasn't appropriate for them to live together. She hadn't had the right to interfere before, but now that Aidan was returning to the Lowe family, she felt she had the authority.
"What do you plan to do with her? The Lowe family won't accept a woman with nothing." If Phoebe was willing to return to the Irvine family, Sienna might consider it. But as things stood, the Irvine family didn't need her.
Moreover, she despised women who lacked backbone. In her eyes, Phoebe's reliance on Aidan showed a lack of backbone, so she looked down on her from the start. Even though Phoebe had given Aidan a child, she still didn't approve of her and felt Aidan deserved better.
Aidan had maintained a calm demeanor, but his expression changed drastically upon hearing Sienna's words. "If you dare do anything to her, don't blame me for changing my attitude."
"Would you really go against me for her?" Sienna sneered.
However, Aidan's expression told her he wasn't joking.
Now, Sienna had to take Phoebe seriously. It seemed she needed to find a way to separate Aidan and Phoebe. She couldn't accept such a daughter-in-law.
Besides, she felt Aidan's excessive concern for Phoebe wasn't a good thing. She thought those who achieve great things shouldn't have such obvious vulnerabilities.
She didn't rush to say these things. There would be plenty of opportunities later. At least, she wanted Aidan to see how powerful the Lowe family was. With enough benefits, she believed he would eventually change his mind.
"Alright, I don't want to meddle in your affairs. Just remember to report to the Lowe Group on time tomorrow." With that, Sienna got up and left the villa.
Watching her leave, Aidan finally dropped his cold demeanor. He turned and saw Phoebe staring at him without blinking.
