But just as she stepped out of the duty room, her phone rang again.
This time, it was Lucia calling.
"Mr. Allen is in trouble; you have to save him." Before Evelyn could speak, she heard Lucia's tearful voice on the other end.
Evelyn felt a headache and asked, "What happened?"
"A group of mercenaries just broke in and took Mr. Allen away." Lucia didn't know who they were, or maybe she guessed but didn't dare to be sure.
Now Evelyn frowned even more. They had targeted both Blake and Wade simultaneously; it seemed that this was the Roberts family's plan.
After hanging up with Lucia, Evelyn had people to search their positions while walking out of the hospital.
When Evelyn arrived at the scene of Blake's incident, a group of people was still guarding there. Edward walked over when he saw her, "Ms. Kyte, what should we do now?"
"Don't panic!" Evelyn glared at him and asked, "Have you contacted the police to the surveillance?"
"We've contacted them. The police said they only saw the group's car leaving the city, and then they lost track of it," Edward replied.
