"You're so confident that I'll accept?" Evelyn raised an eyebrow, curious as to where Dermot's confidence came from.

Evelyn didn't refute this statement, although she didn't want to admit it, what Dermot said was indeed true.

"Why...why did you bring them too?" Evelyn felt a bit embarrassed, especially thinking about how they heard what Dermot had just said. She wished she could find a hole to hide in.
Dermot regained his senses and smiled, saying to her, "Happiness should be witnessed by everyone, don't you think?"
Evelyn didn't say anything, but she couldn't deny that she was truly surrounded by happiness at this moment.
"Evelyn, that's not right. As your best friend, of course I had to witness your happiness." Ruby Kite walked up with a cheerful smile.
Sarah also approached and patted Evelyn's shoulder, "Just as I guessed, you and Dermot are indeed together."

"You won't reject it this time, will you?" the man smiled, as he had kept this bracelet, believing it would eventually belong to Evelyn.
Evelyn glared at him, doubting whether this man was holding a grudge against her for rejecting him publicly before.
