Chapter 767 Will You Still Marry Me?

Even though she felt utterly hopeless, Lucia didn't tell Dora. She knew Dora was feeling down right now, those things would only make Dora feel worse.
After comforting Dora and waiting for her to fall asleep, Lucia left the hotel and hurried back to Wade's villa.
It wasn't that Lucia didn't want to be with Dora, but Wade had set rules for her, one of which was that she couldn't stay out overnight.
Lucia didn't dare to disobey. Despite it being late at night, she tried to get back as soon as possible.
Lucia opened the door gently, thinking Wade should be asleep by now. She planned to return to her room without disturbing him or letting him know she had been outside.
But as soon as Lucia stepped into the living room, the lights suddenly came on.
"Where did you go?" Wade was sitting on the sofa in the living room, his cold gaze making Lucia's back instantly chill.
She thought, 'What is going on? Why is Wade still sitting in the living room at this hour?
'Could he have been waiting for me on purpose?'
Lucia didn't feel relieved; instead, a huge fear rose in her heart. She was afraid Wade would take the opportunity to hurt her. Even though he hadn't actually laid a hand on her yet, she was just scared.
Lucia took a moment to calm herself before walking over. She try to speak as calmly as possible, "I went to see my mom."
"Dora?" Wade raised an eyebrow, showing no respect for Dora.
He already knew about Evelyn's situation and naturally knew what role Dora played in it. It was already quite mercy that he hadn't personally taken action against Dora.
It wasn't that Wade didn't want to; Blake hadn't given him the chance, saying he wanted to handle it himself, so Wade had to let it go.
Lucia nodded and walked up to Wade, then explained, "Blake wants to divorce her. She's in a bad mood."
Wade sneered and said, "Blake was really unlucky to marry a woman like Dora."
Lucia pressed her lips together and said nothing.
In her heart, Lucia didn't agree with Wade's words, but she didn't dare to argue, so she remained silent.
As if knowing what Lucia was thinking, Wade warned, "You're still known as my fiancée. I'm warning you, if you dare to help Dora, don't blame me for being unkind."
'Have you ever been kind to me?' That was the first thought that popped into Lucia's mind.
But she didn't say it out and instead wore a wry smile. "Even if I wanted to help her, I don't have the ability."
She had nothing besides the title of Wade's fiancée.
She didn't even have the title of Ms. Kyte from the Kyte family anymore.
"Someone like her isn't worth your help," Wade said.
"But she is my mother," Lucia couldn't help but say.
Wade's face hardened, and Lucia took two steps back in fear. "I won't help her."
In fact, Dora didn't need her help now; it was she who needed Dora's help.
"That's better." With that, Wade got up and prepared to go upstairs. "If you come back so late again, don't bother coming back at all."
Upon seeing Wade about to leave, Lucia couldn't help but ask, "Will you still marry me?"
They had gotten engaged with the intention of getting married, but now, the Roberts family had fallen, the Kyte family didn't care about her, and her parents were getting divorced. She had nothing left.
The only thing Lucia cared about now was whether her marriage with Wade would still happen.
Lucia didn't know if she would end up with nothing in the end.
