Chapter 1202: Isn't This Too Risky

Nathaniel watched Oscar walk away, totally baffled by what was going on in his head.

But he couldn't waste time on that now. The main thing was to find Bella, pronto.

He had a hunch. Evelyn and her crew wouldn't stick around Seabrook City after grabbing Bella. They were probably back in Golombia by now.

And he was pretty much spot on. Meanwhile, Oscar hit up Evelyn to see if she'd spill Bella's location. Once he got the green light, he headed back to the mansion.

"Bella's back in Golombia with Evelyn and the gang. They're holed up at Kyte Manor," Oscar said.

Nathaniel stayed cool. "Round up the team. We're rolling out to Golombia in two hours."

"Dad, isn't this kinda risky? If Evelyn took Bella to Golombia, she's gotta be ready for us. I'm worried if we rush in, we won't get Bella back," Oscar said, looking worried.

Nathaniel didn't flinch. "Bella's my wife. What's wrong with bringing my own wife home? Even if it's in Golombia, they can't stop me."

"Alright, I'll get things set up," Oscar said, not pushing it further, but secretly he was stoked.

Everything was going just like Evelyn planned. Nathaniel was gonna chase them to Golombia. If things kept going this way, Evelyn's plan would be a slam dunk.

Oscar was already dreaming about taking over the Flores family.

In Golombia, Evelyn was up to speed thanks to Oscar.

But she wasn't sweating it.

Kyte Manor was locked down tight. Forget one family like the Flores; even ten Flores families couldn't bust in and snatch Bella.

Plus, she had Alex on speed dial. Any funny business at Kyte Manor, and the cops would be there in a flash.

Then, they could nab Nathaniel and haul him to the station.

Of course, just dragging Nathaniel to the station wasn't enough. The Flores family still had some pull in Libertonia.

But Evelyn had been working the victims' families, and it was paying off.

With everything set, she was just waiting for Nathaniel to walk right into her trap.

At the Doyle Group, Evelyn strolled in with lunch. No one stopped her as she took the president's private elevator up to Dermot's floor.

Soon, the office was buzzing.

Everyone knew they were a thing, but this was Evelyn's first time at the Doyle Group, and people were curious.

Evelyn had no clue about the chatter.

She knocked, and when she heard Dermot's voice, she walked in.

"Evelyn? What brings you here?" Dermot looked surprised.

"I figured you were too busy to grab lunch, so I brought you some," Evelyn said, handing over the lunch box.

The Kyte family chef made it. It wasn't Dermot-level, but it was decent.

Dermot didn't care if Evelyn made it or not. The fact she brought him lunch was enough. "Have you eaten?"

"I ate at home with Blake and Bella," Evelyn replied.

Blake insisted Evelyn come home for meals every day, saying it was to strengthen their bond.

Evelyn thought it was overkill.
