Chapter 76 Giving You Face

The Doyle Group.

"Mr. Doyle, the Barns Group has hit the limit down," Todd said, handing over the tablet.

Dermot glanced at it and nodded in satisfaction, "Keep an eye on the Barns family. Dermot wants anything they want."

"Okay," Todd nodded, but he nodded his head. "You're in for a tough time if you offend Mr. Doyle."

Just as he was about to speak, there was a knock on the office door.

Todd opened the door, and when he saw who was standing outside, he was shocked.

"Ba...Miss Barns."

"Long time no see, Mr. Angelo," Natalie greeted him as she stepped inside.

And then she asked, "Is Dermot here?"

"Mr. Doyle is here.,"

Natalie walked into the office and smiled when she saw the man sitting behind the desk.

Long time no see, he still looks handsome.

"Dermot," she spoke.

The man frowned, not showing much emotion. "Why did you come?"

"Things are not busy overseas right now. I just come back," she said, not caring about Dermot's mood.

"Let's have lunch," she spoke again. Although she was in a hurry with the Barns family matter, she had known Dermot and knew that some things couldn't be rushed.

Dermot hesitated, but nodded. "I'll treat you."

"Okay."

As they spoke, the two of them walked out of the office together.

Todd watched them disappear and he had a sense of unease.

"The relationship between the two..." Todd murmured, then shook his head. "I've never understood."

In the restaurant, Natalie ate and smiled. "The food in Moris City still suits my taste the best."

"Stay here," Dermot said.

"Hmm, I will consider it," she nodded.

Halfway through the meal, Natalie said, "Grandpa Doyle's birthday banquet is coming up soon, right?"

"Yes, next week," Dermot nodded.

"I'm coming back just in time. I haven't seen Grandpa Doyle in so long, I wonder how his health is?" She asked and Dermot didn't find it strange.

Dermot put down his chopsticks before saying, "He's doing well."

"That's good."

"Did you come to find me just to talk about these things?" The man leaned back in his chair, his gaze on Natalie's face, as if he already saw through her.

Natalie Marina put down her chopsticks and pretended to pout, saying, "I can't hide anything from you, can I?"

Dermot chuckled. The Barns family just had an incident and Natalie came back. He wasn't a fool and could guess the key points.

"I've heard everything from Kenny. It was his fault and I apologize on his behalf," Natalie said sincerely, hoping that the two families wouldn't become enemies because of one woman.

Even though that woman was attractive, Natalie didn't think much of her. Over the years, Dermot had no shortage of beautiful women by his side.

It was just a passing fancy, and it would fade over time.

Dermot, however, didn't respond, looking at her. Natalie felt unease. "Dermot, you know Kenny's personality as well."

"He doesn't know about the relationship between you and that lady," she said.

"If you know what kind of person he is, then you should understand that I didn't let him come. It's not safe," Dermot said.

"Going to prison, that's just because of your face," Dermot said.

"Dermot..."

"He has harmed more than just one girl, if the Barns family wants to protect him, I can't be bothered, as long as you can bear the consequences, it's none of my concern. But this time..."

As he spoke, his face darkened.
