"How could he have the nerve to eat the food you made?" Cassie smiled slightly.
She looked at David, and the more she smiled, the more her heart trembled.

"Because he is my husband, and this is my home," Cassie glanced at the power strip and said softly.
"Cassie, if David dares to hit you once, he will hit you a second time," Joseph added.
"Didn't you hit me before?" Cassie interrupted him calmly.
Joseph was momentarily speechless, then said in frustration after a long pause, "I was under Megan's hypnosis at that time. I didn't do it on purpose."
"Alright, it is none of your business." With that, Cassie hung up the phone.
Joseph looked at the disconnected call, feeling frustrated and lonely.
He just couldn't understand. Last night, Sophia said Cassie wanted a divorce, so why did she go back the next day?
The door to the study knocked, and Joe walked in. "Mr. Hernandez."
"Did you find out where Wyatt and Athena went?" Joseph asked in a deep voice.
"They didn't leave Whisperlyn City but are living in a duplex apartment that Wyatt recently bought," Joel said in a low voice, "During this time, Wyatt has been with Athena every day, occasionally taking her for prenatal checkups or grocery shopping. I didn't dare follow too closely, afraid Wyatt would notice, as he is very good at counter-surveillance."
"So you didn't find anything?" Joseph was very disappointed. He wondered if he had guessed wrong.
"No, I did find something," Joel said, "Yesterday, Wyatt and Athena went to a restaurant together. I didn't dare follow them in and just watched outside. Then Dennis and Felix arrived there too. They stayed in the restaurant for over an hour."
Joseph's hand on the table slowly clenched into a fist. "It can't be a coincidence."
Joel nodded seriously. "Yeah. After Dennis and Felix left, Wyatt and Athena came out shortly after. Athena seemed to be in a good mood."
"It seems I might be right." Joseph's lips pressed together coldly. He never expected a traitor within Dragon.
He always thought Liam betrayed the Hernandez family, but now it seemed Liam was likely just a scapegoat.
Joseph thought to himself, 'Athena must be colluding with the Chamberlain family, and Wyatt might know but is hiding it for the sake of Athena's child. Also, Liam's disappearance must be related to them. Wyatt must be hiding something from me. Liam's disappearance might have a lot to do with the Chamberlain family. But Liam is also Marcus's son. Would Marcus not even spare his son?'
Joel felt sad. "I don't know how Athena became like this. I grew up with her in the training camp. We used to be close. But after she went to protect Megan, we talked less and less. I feel she started changing after she began protecting Megan."

Joseph was used to her constant complaints recently. Thinking of Liam, he asked, "Mom, do you remember how you got pregnant with Liam?"

"I remember you got pregnant with Liam before you married Marcus," Joseph suddenly said.
