She let out a bitter laugh. "The reason I want to see Spencer is to understand what happened that day. Joseph, even a death row inmate, gets multiple court hearings and investigations. What right do you have to conclude that Spencer acted on my orders directly? I don't remember you giving me a chance to defend myself. If you don't believe me, you can stand aside and watch."

Joseph sneered, nbsp;"Fine, I'll let you see him, but you won't be leaving anytime soon."

He turned his head coldly towards Wyatt. "Take her to the basement."

"Mr. Hernandez," Joel said, a bit worried.

"Shut up. It's already lenient that I didn't send her to the police. This is her lesson," Joseph said, staring icily at Cassie. "Reflect on your mistakes in there. Drop your malicious thoughts and stop targeting and hating Megan. Maybe then I'll consider letting you out."
