Sophia, holding Cassie's neck, said, "I suddenly miss the meals my mom used to make. I told Liam before that he brought me to eat your food; it was yummy and had a motherly taste, so he brought me to find you."
After speaking, she secretly winked at Cassie.
Cassie's scalp tingled. She had changed from being a mom to an aunt. If it weren't for Joseph being there, she really wanted to grab Sophia's little butt and give her a beating.

He wasn't angry that Cassie didn't tell him about this, but he was furious that she knew Liam had a daughter and still got so close to him.
"I only found out recently." Cassie couldn't be bothered with him, so she walked to Sophia's side and picked her up. "What does Sophia want to eat?"
Sophia mentioned many dishes. Cassie thought her appetite was really like Joseph's.
"Alright, should I go buy meat for you now?"
When the darling daughter wanted to eat, Cassie naturally put down her work first, put on a small suit jacket, and led Sophia out, not once looking at Joseph.
Feeling neglected, Joseph frowned and followed. "Where are you going to cook?"
"Of course, back home. I can't cook here, and I need to go to the supermarket first." Cassie glanced back at him with disdain. "You go back, and I'll inform Liam to come pick her up later."
"No need. I brought Sophia out, so I'll take her back." Joseph followed them.
They walked through the corridor together, and the employees all looked towards them.
"Wasn't Joseph supposed to be getting married? Why is he still looking for Cassie?"
"Didn't you see? It turns out they have a child. As long as there's a child, they can't cut off contact."
"That child really looks like Joseph; it must be his own."
The more exaggerated the gossip, the more uneasy Cassie felt, scanning them coldly. "If you have time to gossip, you better get back to work."
After hearing the employees' voices, Joseph subconsciously glanced at Cassie beside him. She was holding Sophia, and Sophia was hugging her neck, looking like a particularly affectionate mother-daughter pair.
He was absent-minded for a moment. If their child were still around, maybe what those employees were saying was true.
And he could tell that she could definitely play the role of a good mother.
They reached the parking lot.
Cassie lit up her sports car, and Joseph reached out to her. "I'll drive. You sit in the back with the kid."
"Let him drive," Sophia said.
Cassie reluctantly handed the car keys to Joseph.
Joseph quickly started the car, and through the rearview mirror, he saw Sophia snuggling in Cassie's arms.
At that moment, he felt as if they were a family, and he took his wife and child out to buy stuff.
This feeling didn't displease him; on the contrary, he found it very warm.
