Chapter 934 At Your Command, My Dear

The phone suddenly rang. A message from an unknown number had arrived.

David tapped on it and saw a short video.

The room was dark, but he could vaguely make out two figures under the covers, accompanied by Cassie's alluring voice.

David felt as if his chest had been torn open. He was not a fool; he could clearly see what the two were doing. He just didn't want to believe it and didn't dare to think about it.

Tonight was supposed to be a wonderful night for him and Cassie, a night he had longed for and waited for so long.

Ever since he met Cassie in Madison, he had fallen for her.

When Cassie agreed to his proposal, he was genuinely happy. Even though the wedding was small, he had put thought into every little detail.

But he never expected that on such a night, his woman would be with Joseph.

"Joseph, I will make you wish you were dead," he roared.

David kicked over the table in front of him, his once refined and handsome face now twisted with rage.

"And Cassie, why... why would you do this to me?" David murmured.

His eyes were filled with fury.

In the past, he had resented Cassie, but he had loved her even more.

Three years ago, Cassie was his fiancée, but he knew she had no choice but to save him.

Three years later, after returning from Austin, he learned she was trying to seduce Joseph. He endured it. At that time, she hadn't agreed to be with him.

Now, it was different. As his wife, she was in another man's arms on their wedding night.

He thought, 'Cassie, do you have no sense of shame? Even if Joseph forced you, couldn't you have resisted with your life?'

David clenched his fists. He hated Joseph, but he also hated Cassie.

With a storm brewing in his eyes, he dialed his secretary's number. "Lola Baker, are you asleep? Come to my room now."

"Mr. Foster..." Lola was both surprised and delighted. Why would Mr. Foster call her to his room so late at night? It couldn't be for business.

Lola had tried countless times to seduce him, but David had always kept her at arm's length.

Could it be that Joseph had taken Cassie away, and David, in his distress, wanted his company?

Tonight was indeed a golden opportunity to take advantage of his weakness.

"Alright, Mr. Foster, I'll be right up," she answered.

Ten minutes later, Lola appeared in David's room wearing a white bathrobe, deliberately exposing a large expanse of skin.

David, with a gloomy look on his good-looking face, walked over. Lola looked up at him, her heart pounding. She had admired him for a long time. This man was not only handsome and elegant but also young and capable. If he asked, she would willingly be his mistress forever.

"Mr. Foster." She blinked her eyes affectionately, but before she could react, David had already pulled her roughly into his arms and kissed her forcefully.

Lola was momentarily stunned, then overjoyed. She hadn't truly expected this. The wedding room prepared tonight was actually for her.

At Island Estate, the orange sun slowly rose from the horizon of the sea until it was high in the sky.

Cassie slowly opened her weary eyes.

When she got up, she was the only one left in the bed, which was in disarray.

The sea breeze blew on the windows, causing them to flutter.

Her eyes stared blankly; she had never thought she would betray David. She had fought desperately last night, but the man had been insanely stubborn, and her body still ached.

She pulled the blanket up, slowly hiding herself under it, curling up like a cat. She couldn't even imagine how she would face David's deep affection after escaping from here.

She wasn't worthy..

The door suddenly opened, and a woman in her forties came in with a stack of neatly folded clothes. "Mrs. Hernandez, you're awake. Here are some fresh clothes for you. Would you like to take a bath?"

"Get out!" Cassie roared, like a mad woman, sweeping the tray off the bedside table. Her face was pale as she clutched her head, her long hair disheveled over her shoulders.

The woman was startled and backed away, bumping into someone.

She turned around and hurriedly exclaimed, "Mr. Hernandez."

"Go and give me the clothes," Joseph said, holding the clothes as he walked to the bed.

Seeing him, Cassie angrily grabbed a pillow and threw it at his face, her beautiful face full of hatred.

"Have you thrown enough?" Joseph's gaze remained gentle. "Are you sure you wanna leave without any clothes on? Or do you plan to stay in this bed forever?"

Reminded by him, Cassie realized she wasn't wearing any clothes, and her wedding dress from yesterday had been torn. If she didn't take the clothes, she was indeed nude.

"In that case, never mind." Joseph raised an eyebrow and sighed, pretending to be helpless. "Actually, I quite like seeing you without clothes."

This scoundrel...

Cassie's face turned red with anger.

Seeing that he was really about to leave, she had no choice but to speak up again in frustration, "Stop, give me the clothes."

"At your command, my dear." Joseph smiled slightly, turned around, and immediately handed her the clothes.

"You got it wrong, I'm David's dear," Cassie sneered, never missing a chance to irritate him.

The gentle light in Joseph's eyes indeed dimmed, but moments later, his eyes softened again. "Cassie, I'm not angry. I used to torment you; now it's your turn to torment me, as long as it makes you happy."

Cassie couldn't help but lose her temper. "I don't want to torment you at all. I just want to stay away from you. I hate you."

"Alright, you hate me, but last night, I don't know who was pleased," Joseph said, winking mischievously.

Cassie's beautiful face instantly blushed, and she wished she could scratch his face.

"Cassie, even if you keep saying you hate me and don't love me, your body is still accustomed to me," Joseph said, unable to resist leaning down to kiss her thin lips.

Cassie didn't dodge but said coldly, "It's just a physical need. I was the same with David, and I think you're not even as good as him."

"Say that again." Joseph grabbed her cheeks, his eyes filled with rage, making her face turn red from his grip.

Cassie glared at him defiantly. "I was with him for a while. Isn't it normal for a man and a woman to have sex?"

"Cassie, why do you have to push me? I don't want to hurt you," Joseph said, his whole body seething with anger.

This version of Joseph made Cassie feel a twinge of fear again. She suddenly regretted it a bit. He had hurt her before, even sending her to the hospital in the middle of the night.

That was something she had always been afraid of.
