Chapter 642

Cassie took a deep breath. Although she knew he wouldn't say anything nice, when he maliciously speculated about her in such an unbearable way, she still wanted to hit him.
In fact, she did. .
She quickly took off the only canvas shoe left on her foot and smacked it unceremoniously across his face.
To Joseph's surprise, he had never expected her to be so bold, the sole of the shoe landed solidly on his cheek. The car shook violently with his rising anger.
" Cassie, you seem to be fed up with living," he shouted and angrily grabbed the shoe and threw it out the window. If he hadn't been driving now, he would definitely have dealt with her properly. "Who gave you the right to speak so rudely?"
Cassie saw the shoe print on his handsome face and inexplicably felt a sense of satisfaction. She said, "Joseph, you lost my shoes. You owe me a pair."
Joseph sneered, "What, I give you a pair, and then you run to Megan, saying I bought you shoes to hurt her. Cassie, you should stop playing these games."
"If you really don't want to hurt her, you should let me go instead of entangling with me here late at night."  Cassie looked ahead, not the way back home. "Joseph, where are you taking me?"
"People like you who lack restraint are best kept locked up so as not to embarrass me," Joseph said.
Cassie's heart turned cold and asked, "Are you going to lock me up again?"
"You deserve it," Joseph said angrily.
The painful days of being locked up three years ago flooded. Cassie rushed forward like a madwoman and grabbed the steering wheel.
" Cassie, you're crazy. Let go." Joseph tried to push her with one hand. But now, Cassie was not the one Joseph could easily subdue three years ago. They pulled the steering wheel back and forth.
Finally, Cassie bit his ear, grabbed the steering wheel, and rammed it towards the parterre ahead while using her foot to press the accelerator hard.
" Cassie, let go." Joseph watched in pain as the car bumped through the parterre and headed towards the wall. Joseph, who was usually calm, was also startled, hurriedly stepping on the brakes. But Cassie suddenly attacked, causing him to groan in pain.
"Joseph, I don't want to be imprisoned by you again and again. This time, if I were to die, we could die together."  Cassie looked at him with a crazy look in her eyes.
Joseph was stunned.
With a loud noise, the car crashed into the wall. The windows shattered. The airbags deployed, squeezing both of them in the driver's seat.
Joseph felt his brain shake violently, dazed, only seeing Cassie's bright eyes filled with joy, like brilliant fireworks blooming in the night sky.
As she smiled, a trickle of blood flowed down from her forehead.
Joseph's eyes widened. For some reason, Joseph felt like something was tearing apart in his chest. It hurt so much that he could barely breathe normally. It was so painful that it made Joseph feel like crying.
It turned out Cassie really wanted him dead. She was so determined to make him die. In a daze, he seemed to hear someone shouting outside the window.
"There's been an accident."
 "Call an ambulance quickly."
