Sie returned home with two little ones who had played all day.
"Mommy, I want to play again tomorrow." Sophia held onto Sie tightly.
"Okay, we'll go to the underwater world tomorrow."
Sie was about to run a bath for them when a nurse from the hospital called her. "Sie, could you please come to the hospital now? Mr. Leo's blood pressure suddenly spiked tonight. Despite taking medication earlier, it hasn't come down."
"Alright, please inform the doctor promptly. I'll come right away," Sie replied.
After hanging up the phone, Sie had to tell the two little ones, "Your grandfather isn't feeling well. Mommy needs to go to the hospital now. You two stay home and behave, and Auntie will be back soon."
"Mommy, can we go see Grandpa?" Oliver frowned.
"Not now. Grandpa isn't feeling well, and there's no time to talk to you. Maybe later," Sie said.
After comforting the two little ones, Sie reluctantly headed to the hospital.
On the way, Sie called Laura, asking her to come back early.
After Sie left, Sophia dragged a stool over, climbed onto the cabinet, and uncovered some snacks with a laugh, ''Ha, Mommy thought she could hide these from me."
Sophia tossed a bag of chips to Oliver. "Want some?"
"I don't eat junk food; it lowers intelligence." Oliver looked at her in disbelief, puzzled by her appetite. Mommy didn't eat like that; it must be a Joseph thing.
He thought for a moment, turned on the computer, and typed in the name Joseph.
Immediately, an elegant and noble male face appeared, dressed in a handmade black suit, with deep eyes.
Munching on chips, Sophia leaned in. ''Wow, he's seriously good-looking, even more than David. I'm gonna find a guy that hot one day."
"This is Joseph." Oliver looked at her. "Mommy was probably deceived because of thoughts like yours."
"Bastard father?" Sophia widened her eyes.
Oliver muttered, 'Yup. He's tying the knot next month with a woman named Megan, this is her."
After saying that, Oliver quickly found a photo of Megan.
Biting her lip, Sophia said, "She's really ugly, not even half as good-looking as Mommy. The bastard father has terrible taste."
"Yeah." Oliver narrowed his eyes. "They have deeply hurt Mommy; we have to avenge Mommy."
"Okay, how should we do it?" Sophia became interested.
At that moment, there was a sudden noise coming from outside, someone was coming!
Oliver felt something amiss, so he quickly closed the computer, grabbed Sophia, and ran into the room.
His eyes darted around. He pulled Sophia into a suitcase, zipped it halfway, and they huddled together.
Sophia, feeling uncomfortable and out of breath, said, "What are you doing? It must be Auntie coming back... mmm..."
Before she could finish speaking, Oliver covered her mouth.
"Shh, Auntie doesn't have the key." Just as Oliver whispered, the front door was forcefully kicked open with a bang, followed by the voice of a stranger.
"Boss, no one's here, but the lights are on."
"Could she be hiding?"
"Search for her."
Several footsteps entered the bedroom, rummaging through the wardrobe and under the bed.
"Boss, no one here."
The man's gaze fell on a small suitcase inside the wardrobe, "Could she be hiding in here?"
He reached out to check but was kicked over by his companion, "You idiot, can an adult fit in such a small suitcase?"
After a pause, he glanced around and said, "Forget it. Let's smash everything here."
With that, he took a steel rod and smashed it directly onto the suitcase---
