Chapter 847
Michael fell silent.
"Damn it! Did I owe you in my past life," Laura couldn't bear it any longer and scolded. "You almost killed me."
"What did they do?" Michael became even more uneasy and asked.
Just as Laura was about to speak, a big hand snatched the phone away.
Joseph said directly, "Laura is in the hospital; you come over and make sure she gets back safely."
"Joseph...," Michael called out, and he was stunned.
"Ken's negative news has already been exposed. It's up to you to seize this opportunity to get rid of the competition. Also, learn a lesson. Since she is very helpful to the company, you should pay attention to protecting Laura's safety," Joseph claimed.
After Joseph finished speaking, he hung up the phone, threw it to Laura, and then turned to continue accompanying Cassie.
Twenty minutes later, the blood test report came out.
The doctor confirmed that Laura and Cassie were fine. As long as they rested well tonight, they would recover their strength by tomorrow.
Upon hearing this, Joseph immediately picked up Cassie and softly said, "Let's go back."
Cassie looked worriedly at Laura and said, "But she... ."

"Then take care. If Michael doesn't come to pick you up, call me," Cassie replied.

Laura looked somewhat emotional and envious. She used to think having a boyfriend was optional, but now she inexplicably found it quite nice to have one.

If you came here just to lecture me, you can leave," Laura said angrily.
She was already weak, and after pointing, her finger weakly drooped down. Her deep features show a hint of paleness.
"Forget it. I won't argue with you. I'll take you back," Michael said softly.
He lifted the blanket off Laura, suddenly picked her up, and realized she was quite light. Laura caught off guard, instinctively hung onto Michael's neck.
