Chapter 1132 You Drive Me Crazy

Bernice was shocked; she never thought Lucas could be so shameless.

She thought, "He's about to get married."

Even though she knew he wasn't faithful, she had told him she was Nina's childhood friend.

Yet, he was still so gross.

She remembered how she once loved Lucas.

Now, she felt deep disgust.

She pushed him hard, but his chest was rock solid.

She had to bite him hard enough to draw blood.

Lucas snapped out of it. Bernice shoved him away and slapped him.

The office went silent.

"You dare hit me?" Lucas's eyes were cold with fury.

"Why wouldn't I? You're a thug trying to assault me. Can't I hit you?" Bernice sneered.

"Fine, Bernice, you've really pissed me off. You call me a thug? I'll show you what a thug can do," Lucas said, grabbing her waist and throwing her onto the sofa, pinning her down.

"Lucas, get lost." Bernice never thought Lucas would be this crazy. But he was strong from years of working out. She felt helpless.

Even when she tried to kick him, Lucas caught her leg and laughed suggestively. "You're quite proactive."

Bernice's eyes burned with anger. "Lucas, there are plenty of women for you to mess with. Why me? I'm Nina's friend. Weren't you afraid she'd blame you?"

Lucas froze.

Bernice took the chance to push him away, quickly fixed her clothes, and ran out of the office.

She didn't expect to run into Sarah, who was walking over with a fancy handbag.

When Sarah saw Bernice's messy clothes and the kiss marks on her neck, she glanced at the office door behind Bernice and sneered. "Bernice, I didn't expect you to be so cheap. They said you were so aloof, but turns out you're a slut."

Bernice gave her a cold look and walked away without a word.

"Stop, didn't you hear Sarah talking to you?" Sarah's assistant, Vivian Ramirez, shouted, "Are you deaf? Do you want to get fired?"

Bernice kept walking, making Vivian furious. "Sarah, Bernice doesn't respect you at all."

"Don't worry about it. She's just Mr. Jenkins's plaything. Mr. Jenkins is already married." Sarah sneered and walked into the office.

When she saw Lucas on the sofa, she was stunned.

She looked around and didn't see Max, thinking, "So it was Lucas with Bernice? How come?"

Her face turned pale, especially when she saw the blood on Lucas's lips and the lingering heat in his eyes.

Sarah was floored.

No matter how hard she tried to seduce Lucas before, he always brushed her off. She even wondered if he was gay.

Now, she realized Lucas just wasn't into her but was into Bernice.

She was jealous, thinking, 'How could Bernice compare to me? She must've seduced Lucas somehow.'

If Bernice were in front of her, Sarah would slap her out of anger.

Vivian, behind Sarah, was also shocked.

But Lucas just put his feet on the table, lit a cigarette, and looked annoyed at Sarah. "What are you doing here?"

"Leave us," Sarah told Vivian.

Vivian nodded, realizing Lucas didn't care about Sarah as much as she thought. If he did, he wouldn't be so calm and indifferent after being caught cheating, without a hint of guilt.

After the door closed, Sarah's eyes filled with tears. "Lucas, why? If you need someone, you can come to me."

"You?" Lucas cut her off, looking at her coldly. "Sorry, I can't."

Sarah was stunned, her face going pale.

Lucas looked at her indifferently. "What are you still hoping for? Why do you think I married you? If you mess with my business, even as Mrs. Nelson, you can be replaced anytime."

"I didn't," Sarah's lips trembled, but she was unwilling. "I just love you too much. I can't stand it."

"If you can't stand it, then don't. If needed, I'll get you a heart that can," Lucas said with a cold, mocking smile.

Sarah shivered, knowing Lucas was ruthless.

Lucas was different from Michael and Joseph. He was truly cold, indifferent, and dangerous.

"Get out," Lucas said coldly.

Sarah gritted her teeth. "Fine, I'll go."

A tear fell as she turned to leave, but she looked back at the door. "Lucas, I know I'm not enough for you. It's normal for you to have other women, but I hope it's not Bernice. Bernice isn't as simple as you think, and she doesn't deserve you."

"What are you trying to say?" Lucas narrowed his eyes.

"You might not know," Sarah bit her lip, "Bernice used to be Gary's woman. He supported her all through college for four years. Bernice signed with Dreamscape Entertainment Group because of Gary. Her acting wasn't good at first, but Gary spent a lot of money on her without making her famous. Later, the Ross family looked down on Bernice and arranged for Gary to get engaged to a socialite. Two years ago, Gary dumped Bernice."

Lucas thought, 'Gary?'

His eyes turned cold, making people shiver.

Sarah shivered. "I'm not lying. Mr. Jenkins knows about this, and so do many others."
