Chapter 1199 Do You Love Cassie?

David paused and asked, "Will the side effects be noticeable?"

"If you use a little less, you won't notice at first, but over time, I can't guarantee," Megan replied honestly.

"How long?"

"Two or three years, maybe."

"That's enough. Give me the medicine," David's eyes gleamed with malice.

Declan's weakness was Isabella. If she lost her mind, Declan would be crushed. Meanwhile, with Olivia's infiltration, two or three years could change everything.

Silverwood.

In the past couple of days, Robert had taken Isabella and Declan to many places.

"Isabella, this used to be our company. You even worked here during summer breaks, but now it's not ours anymore. You can only look from the outside," Robert said with a hint of regret.

Isabella looked at the building. The familiar feeling she had on the first day was gone. "If it was Dad's legacy, how is it not ours anymore?"

Robert looked down awkwardly, and Helen sighed, "It's because of Joseph. After we found Olivia, we brought her into Height Company to make up for lost time. But Cassie was uncomfortable with it, thinking Olivia wanted to take over. She started to resent us and, after getting together with Joseph, did everything she could to sabotage Height Company. The company's reputation was ruined, and we had to sell it when we couldn't manage the finances."

"Helen, I'm sorry," Olivia said apologetically, "Maybe I shouldn't have come back."

"Don't say that. It's our fault for not disciplining Cassie well," Helen pretended to be sad.

The more Isabella listened, the angrier she got, and her impression of Cassie worsened.

Since she returned, she had heard countless stories of Cassie's crazy actions against Robert, Helen, and Olivia.

She thought to herself, 'How could one person be so malicious?'

Back at the hotel, she immediately called Everett, "Didn't you stay in Whisperlyn City for a few days? How's the plan to teach Cassie a lesson going? The Peace Group was founded by me and left for Olivia, so it's time to take it back."

Everett's eyes showed a hint of conflict. After a moment, he said, "Mom, I looked into the Peace Group. Now, Cassie is the only shareholder, meaning all the power is in her hands. She kicked out all the old shareholders. If you want to take back the Peace Group, it's impossible."

"She has some skills." Isabella was a bit surprised. If Cassie hadn't done so many evil things, she might have admired her. "As far as I know, she only took over the Peace Group in recent years. For a young girl to kick out all the shareholders, she must be ruthless and decisive."

Everett remained silent.

"Forget it. It's just a small company. It doesn't matter if we don't take it back. Make some connections and cause some trouble. Once the funding chain breaks, the Peace Group won't survive," Isabella said calmly.

Everett frowned. "She has the Hernandez Group backing her. If the funding chain breaks, they'll step in. Plus, she’s recognized Aiden as her father. Even though Aiden left the Chapman Group, he started a logistics company that's now one of Madison's top firms and is expanding globally."

"Aiden?" Isabella frowned. "What a fool. He can't even recognize his own daughter."

Declan, standing nearby, felt uneasy. "So what? Do you want to explain it to him yourself? I don't want you having any ties with him. Besides, you have a daughter together, and I heard he's not married. I'm worried he might have improper thoughts about you."

Isabella had considered seeing Aiden herself, but Declan's words made her dismiss the idea.

"Aiden isn't a concern," Declan said calmly. "His company is expanding, so his funding chain must be tight. He can't help Cassie. Our only target is the Hernandez Group."

Isabella nodded. "You know Stanley Morris, right? Just give him a call."

"I was thinking the same." Declan hugged her. "If we fly to Whisperlyn City tomorrow and have dinner with Stanley, the problem will be solved."

Everett watched Declan and Isabella's casual tone and frowned slightly. He knew Declan's connections spanned the globe.

The next day.

Isabella, Declan, Everett, and Olivia flew to Whisperlyn City together. When the plane landed, Olivia took a deep breath, thinking, 'Whisperlyn City, I'm back.' She had fled in disgrace back then, but now she was back.

Soon, a stretched, bulletproof car picked them up and took them to a hidden yet luxurious villa. After a grand feast, Everett took them to the mansion he had bought in Whisperlyn City.

After Isabella and Olivia went to freshen up, Everett called out to Declan, "Dad."

"What's up?" Declan looked at him authoritatively. "You seemed like you had something to say earlier."

Everett was frustrated. Of course, he had something to say, but Declan was always with Isabella, and Olivia was always around.

"Dad, let's talk in the study," Everett whispered..

Declan nodded. Once in the study, he suddenly said, "By the way, you mentioned meeting a very beautiful girl and falling in love at first sight."

If Everett told Declan he had fallen in love with Cassie at first sight, he might get beaten up. "No, I later found out she was married."

Declan looked at him with some sympathy. It was rare for Everett to like a woman, but she was married.

"Dad, actually, I wanted to talk to you about Cassie," Everett said, bracing himself.

"Don't tell me you love Cassie," Declan said coldly.

As he saw Everett suddenly fall silent, Declan's face darkened. "Did she seduce you?"

"No, Dad, on my first day in Silverwood, I happened to run into her. I didn't know she was Cassie at the time, and she saved me," Everett quickly explained.
