Chapter 640
Cassie screamed, turned angrily, and met Joseph's angry but handsome face.
"Joseph, are you out of your mind?" she shouted. After glaring at him, Cassie quickly took a tissue to wipe the wine stain on her chest.
But no matter how hard she wiped, that spot remained tightly stuck to her chest, looking very transparent and embarrassing.
"Put this on." Billy immediately took Joseph's coat and tried to cover her shoulders but was firmly stopped by Joseph's big hand. His deep, dark eyes were warningly fixed on him.
"Joseph, don't you already have an ex-girlfriend? Isn't it too much for you to interfere?" Billy calmly smiled and said, "Ask her why I'm interfering."
Joseph snatched the coat and threw it to Cassie, "Put it on, button it up." As he spoke, he glanced indifferently. He didn't expect her to be so sexy.
Joseph thought about the fact that she was wearing what he had bought, and a strange feeling suddenly filled his heart.
"Why am I so unlucky to run into you again." His extremely arrogant tone made Cassie's anger rise.
"That's also a question I'm curious about." Joseph saw that a button on her clothes wasn't fastened properly, and some parts of her body were still visible. He suddenly reached out to help her fasten it. The soft-touch under his fingertips felt like feathers gently brushing over his heart. 'What on earth did she do in her past life? How could she be so fascinating?' Joseph thought.
"Joseph, why are you here?" Noah asked. He had just added a plate of foie gras. After coming back to see this scene, his eyes suddenly widened.
He quickly looked around, relieved to see that there was only him; he didn't want to run into Michael, Megan, and the others; if he did, it would never end.
"Aren't you supposed to go to the club and accompany Megan?" he added.
Noah provoked Joseph's handsome face to darken. "You've been sitting here for so long, but she hasn't told you yet?" He turned to Cassie, raised his eyebrows, and said, "Where's your marriage certificate? You like to carry it with you, take it out, and show it ."
She was a little angry and said, "Aren't you ashamed to say it out loud? You haven't divorced yet, and you're fooling around with other women outside; that's one thing, but you're also teaming up with your lover to take down my company, trying to kill me; how shameless!"
"You know very well that I have no feelings for you at all; it's purely your persistence and attempts to harm Megan; you deserve it."
Joseph was merciless; Noah was used to it, but Billy was not happy to hear it; he said, "I never thought that Joseph, the admired and respected richest man in Madison, could say such shameless words."
"By what authority do you dare to meddle in front of me." Joseph's thin lips curled in a mocking smile. "Could it be that you like Cassie?"
Billy gently said, "It's quite normal to like her. She is so outstanding and beautiful; as long as she's willing to date me, I can agree at any time, unlike some people with low taste."
Cassie was stunned, but she saw Billy wink at her secretly. She instantly understood everything, feeling a warmth in her heart.
Joseph, who was being mocked, clenched his fists in anger. His rage made Noah suspect that Joseph might strike Billy at any moment.
