Chapter 931 Joseph Actually Abducted Mommy
Everyone at the wedding banquet was staring at Joseph.
This most distinguished man in Madison, at this moment, looked as messy as a young man who had lost his beloved possession, his face full of bewilderment.
But moments later, he began to laugh lowly, a sinister laugh that sent chills down people's spines.
"David, don't you know what kind of person I am? She is my woman, and she will be mine for a lifetime. Marriage means nothing; a marriage certificate is worthless," Joseph stated.
Joseph stepped forward coldly, his handsome face filled with madness.
David and Cassie looked horrified, both seemingly underestimating Joseph's shamelessness.
"Joseph, will you stop? I stopped loving you a long time ago," Cassie shouted, unable to bear it any longer. She had said this many times before.
"It doesn't matter. As long as I love you, that's enough." Joseph stepped forward to grab her hand, and David immediately started to fight him.
But once the fight began, David was at a disadvantage.
"David, I'll help you." Arthur immediately jumped out, and a group of men from the Foster family quickly gathered to assist.
But facing the fierce Joseph, even a dozen men were instantly knocked to the ground, unable to get up from the pain.
"Someone, help!" David, clutching his chest, struggled to get up and shouted towards the banquet hall's entrance.
But after shouting for a long time, a group of burly strangers entered.
"Mr. Hernandez, everyone outside has been cleared," the leading man respectfully said to Joseph.
"Well done." Joseph nodded in approval.
Cassie looked at Joseph as if he were a demon.
Aiden, unable to bear it any longer, angrily warned, "Joseph, enough is enough. Yes, with your skills, you can take Cassie away, but have you thought about the entire Hernandez family and its reputation? Abducting a married woman in public, with reporters present, is too outrageous. If this gets out, you and your Hernandez family will be despised by all of Madison."
"Yes, Joseph, stop this." Liam also anxiously stepped forward to dissuade him. "You'll make Grandpa and Grandma faint with anger."
"I said no one can stop me today." Joseph's eyes were devoid of any warmth, his gaze fixed solely on Cassie.
Cassie glanced at Joseph and then turned to run towards the back door. But because of wearing a dress and high heels, Cassie was quickly caught by Joseph, who knocked her out and picked her up.
"Cassie!" David anxiously rushed forward, but a member of Dragon blocked him, engaging him in a fight.
As Joseph passed by Elijah and Rachel, he grimly warned, "If any of you dare to call the police about today's event, I won't hesitate to make Madison's leading pharmaceutical company disappear completely."
With that, he carried Cassie onto the helicopter on the lawn and quickly left.
Elijah and Rachel shivered at the thought of Joseph's cold gaze just now.
Elijah was even more furious and lashed out at David. "I told you not to marry this woman, but you insisted. Now look, you just got married, and your wife has been taken away."
David's usually gentle face was twisted with anger. He hadn't expected Joseph to be so bold, to snatch his wife in public, trampling his dignity into the ground. And in Joseph's eyes, he always felt like an ant.
Originally, it should have been his wedding night, but now Cassie was with Joseph.
Thinking about what might happen between them, he was furious.
He murmured, "Joseph, Joseph, I will never let you get away with this."
He angrily pulled out his phone.
Kathleen snatched it away. "Are you crazy? Didn't you hear Joseph's warning? We can't call the police. Our Foster family is no match for Joseph."
"That's right, you can't call the police," Elijah said angrily. "And you can't have Cassie either. Divorce her as soon as she comes back."
"This is my own business, and none of your concerns." David left with a poker face.
Sophia and Oliver exchanged glances, both looking helplessly at Liam.
"Liam, what should we do? Joseph actually abducted Mommy." Sophia shivered, finding the Joseph just now terrifying.
Oliver was also anxious. "Liam, will Mommy be okay?"
"Don't worry; Joseph just doesn't want your mommy to be with David." Liam tried to comfort them, but he shivered inwardly.
He knew Joseph wasn't a normal person; he had a mental illness. Who knew when he might go crazy? He had hurt Cassie before, and Liam hoped he would stay calm this time.
"It's a very serious situation. I need to get back to the Hernandez family quickly." Liam sighed. Joseph's actions had completely ruined the Hernandez family's reputation. From now on, they would be cursed wherever they went.
In the suite, David quickly dialed a number. "Send me a team. I want Joseph dead."
"Not now," the person on the other end said quietly. "Calm down. To achieve great things, you must endure. You've endured for so many years. Just a little longer."
"But my wife was taken," David roared. "Who knows what Joseph might do to her?"
"Have you thought about how Cassie would see you if you bring so many people over? She would suspect you, and Joseph would become suspicious too," the person said coldly. "If Cassie finds out you were behind Spencer's downfall, do you think she wouldn't hate you?" he then added.
David calmed down and was silent for a long time. He just gripped his phone tightly, veins bulging on the back of his hand.
The person continued, "Besides, hasn't Cassie already been with Joseph? Just endure a little longer. Afterward, you can deal with Joseph however you want. Crush him like an ant. The more arrogant he is today, the more you can make him suffer tomorrow."
With that, the call ended.
David smashed his phone on the spot. Fine, he would endure, just one more month. He thought, 'Joseph, in a month, hell awaits you.'
In the mirror on the wall, his ferocious face was reflected.
On the helicopter, Joseph greedily gazed at Cassie's delicate and translucent face. His hand gently caressed her cheek. She had fainted, looking peaceful and docile.
If only she could always be like this. Why did she have to say so many hurtful things?
"I'm sorry, forgive me. I will spend my life making it up to you," he murmured.
Joseph forcefully wiped off the lipstick from Cassie's lips. David had kissed her before, and he wanted to erase all traces.
After cleaning it off, he lowered his head and kissed her moist lips. He wanted to leave his mark there.
Calls came in from Mabel, Walter, and Matilda, but he didn't answer any of them.
After a long kiss, he dialed Nathaniel's number. "I'm taking Cassie to my private island villa now. Arrange a small wedding banquet there. Tonight, I want to marry Cassie."
