Chapter 1357 "Cassie, you're really too much."

"How about tomorrow?" Joseph arched a brow. "First, we're hopping on my dad's private jet to Yugrot. Oh, and he wants me to show Sophia and Oliver around his company. You know, since they'll be running it someday."

Cassie felt a twinge of pity for Sophia and Oliver. She thought, 'Man, they're just kids, and everyone's already throwing these huge empires at them. First, it's the Hernandez Group, now the Garrison Group—both worth like, hundreds of billions. Those two are gonna be wiped out.'

"We can crash at my dad's seaside castle too. It's just a quick half-hour drive," Joseph said, squeezing her hand. "And we can hit up his vineyard for some wine tasting."

Cassie exhaled deeply. "Alright, let's roll tomorrow."

"Aren't you gonna stay with Laura?" Joseph asked, eyebrow still raised.

Cassie coughed. "I think you were right. I shouldn't mess with her bonding time." She mused, 'Staying in a castle, chilling by the sea, sipping wine at a vineyard, and soaking in the fairy-tale vibes of Yugrot—who wouldn't want that? I can hardly wait to hop on that jet.'

That night, Cassie took Sophia and Oliver to visit Laura. They walked in on Michael awkwardly changing the baby's diaper.

"Wow, Mommy, the baby is so cute," Sophia said, poking the baby's chubby cheek.

Michael grinned. "Tell your mom to give you another sibling."

Cassie was speechless, thinking, 'If I have another set of twins, I'll lose it.'

"No need, Mommy has us, and that's plenty," Oliver said coolly. "One Sophia is already enough trouble. I don't need more chaos."

"Who are you calling trouble? I never complained about your grumpy face," Sophia shot back.

The baby frowned at their squabbling.

Cassie quickly intervened, "Don't bother the baby. By the way, have you named her yet?"

"My grandpa named her Maeve Jude," Michael said proudly.

"That's a sweet name." Cassie nodded, letting Sophia and Oliver entertain Maeve while she chatted with Laura. "Feeling any better?"

"Not really, it hurts like hell," Laura said weakly. "And dealing with Michael all day is suffocating."

"Would you rather he just ignore you?" Cassie laughed. "Why should you go through childbirth while he gets off easy? That's not fair."

"You sound just like my mom," Laura pouted. "She said I should make him suffer."

"She's got a point," Cassie nodded. "You gotta look out for yourself now. Stay in bed as much as you can. Make him bring you food. If you hate someone, you gotta make 'em suffer. If you divorce him now, you're letting him off easy. Make him pay before you let him go. It pisses me off just thinking about it. How dare he give away the clothes you bought? Does he think a shopping spree can fix everything? Some wounds ain't about money."

"Exactly, I feel the same way," Laura said, nodding eagerly, feeling seen and heard.

"Remember, make him pay back a thousand times for the pain he caused you," Cassie said, her eyes intense.

Laura shivered at Cassie's dark look. "Uh, maybe that's a bit much."

"Anyway, if he doesn't listen, call the Jude family," Cassie said seriously. "Oh, and I came by to tell you I'm taking the kids to Yugrot for a vacation tomorrow. We might be gone for like, two weeks."

Laura was stunned, then said jealously, "Cassie, you're so mean. I'm stuck here recovering, and you're off on vacation. Wait, are you going with just Sophia and Oliver? No way." Laura's eyes narrowed suspiciously.

Cassie felt a bit guilty. "I can't handle two kids alone. Joseph's coming with me, and his dad too. Mainly, Joseph's dad wants to get Sophia and Oliver familiar with his company for the future."

"Seriously? Sophia and Oliver are so young. Do they need to know the company already?" Laura was practically green with envy. "Sophia and Oliver are so lucky. How about we set up Oliver to marry Maeve in the future? Despite Michael, my genes will make sure Maeve turns out great."

"You're so full of yourself," Cassie said, rolling her eyes.

"If I weren't awesome, would I be the world's youngest perfumer? And you can't doubt my looks!" Laura squinted. "I'm just unlucky with men."

"Alright, when they grow up, we'll set them up."

Cassie said, "I'll bring you back some gifts. Take care of yourself."

Laura sighed. "I'm so jealous just thinking about you going on vacation."

After a pause, she lowered her voice. "And don't let Joseph get his way too quickly."

Cassie didn't dare to say that Joseph had already gotten his way.

Cassie coughed awkwardly. "By the way, Michael recently gave Joseph a bunch of porn videos. I didn't expect Michael to be such a creep. Teach him a lesson."

Laura was embarrassed and thought, 'No wonder Michael said he was bringing Joseph a gift; turns out it was that kind of gift.'

"Ahem, so Joseph watched the porn and then came to you for practice?" Laura's eyes lit up with realization.

Cassie panicked. "It's getting late. I need to go pack. I'm outta here."
