Chapter 761

Cassie couldn't help but laugh.

"Did you do this?" she handed the phone back to Laura. It wasn't evident to everyone, but she was aware that Michael was deeply committed to Megan, and it was evident that someone was deliberately trying to disrupt their relationship.

"Yeah, I ran into Michael at the bar last night. He was completely drunk, so I found him a few women," Laura grinned. These women are definitely better than Megan."

Cassie looked at Laura with a helpless expression. "You shouldn't have done that. I heard Michael's uncle is running for president. This will create a major scandal and most likely draw the attention of the Jude family.

Laura felt a bit nervous after Cassie said, "It shouldn't. I haven't heard that the Jude family is so petty."

"I'm not sure either, but you've definitely ruined Michael's reputation. You better watch out for yourself."

Cassie glanced at Laura and then walked out.

Laura, feeling uneasy, followed her out and suddenly saw an invitation on the table. She picked it up and saw that it was Joseph and Megan's wedding invitation, "Who sent this?"

"Megan."

“Megan has no shame; inviting you to the wedding is obviously meant to embarrass you and flaunt her own status. Do you plan on attending?”

"I'll go, of course. My dad was also invited, so I'll go with him," Cassie smiled faintly, "Anyway, this wedding may not go smoothly."

"True," Laura yawned, "I'm going back to sleep."

At the hotel.

After successfully getting rid of the group of reporters and women, Michael opened his phone and came across mocking comments from netizens. Michael was on the verge of losing his mind.

Who was the despicable person trying to provoke him?

Upon waking up, he recalled getting drunk the previous night and vaguely dreaming of a fairy-like woman with a delightful scent, so intoxicatingly fragrant and soft that it nearly drove him mad. However, as he opened his eyes, all he beheld were a collection of unsightly faces.

Feeling nauseous, he couldn't suppress it any longer and hurried to the bathroom to vomit. Once he had emptied his stomach, he promptly contacted the hotel manager to review the surveillance footage.

In the early hours of last night, a woman helped him into the hotel.

After seeing the woman's face clearly, he almost lost his mind.

Laura.

It was Laura, that bitch.

Laura had ruined Michael's reputation and image for life.

He was determined to get rid of Laura.

At that moment, his phone rang, it was Lucas calling.

After a few coughs, Lucas chuckled and remarked, "So that was your 'business' last night. Alright, Michael, you usually appear disinterested in women, but when you do show interest, it's quite a spectacle. I can't compete with you in that realm, but your preferences are truly unique. Can't we just be a bit more conventional?

"Shut up," Michael roared in frustration, "I was set up by the bitch Laura."

"I didn't expect Laura to be so creative," Lucas gloated, "Did she help you lose your virginity last night?"

"Are you still my friend?" Michael gritted his teeth, "If you are, remove the news from the trend quickly."

"Alright, come over quickly. Today is Joseph's wedding. Don't forget, you're the best man."

Lucas gently reminded him, and Michael suddenly recalled that today was Megan and Joseph's wedding. Michael had been feeling low and in pain the day before, but after Laura's behavior, he was now consumed with anger. He had no desire to attend the wedding; he simply wanted to confront Laura and resolve the conflict.
