Chapter 284
"Cassie was seething so much that her teeth chattered. He had purposely set her up to earn an impossible ten thousand dollars.
Sure enough, the entitled brats chuckled, ""Then we better tip lightly. We don't want the show to end too soon.""
""That's right! Enjoy it slowly.""
Under their gaze, she began to dance around the pole, entwined. Cassie was indeed a skilled dancer, but she knew that the better she danced, the more irrational the men would become.
But she underestimated her own curvaceous figure and stunning beauty. Even the most casual dance moves became fatally enticing to the men as she wore the provocative bunny girl outfit.
Michael smugly recorded a video and sent it to Joseph: [Joseph, I'm teaching your girl a lesson.]
————
At the Hernandez family estate.
Joseph was about to hit the sack when he saw the video and felt a surge of rage explode in his brain.
The woman in the video wore a skimpy red bunny girl outfit that was almost pitifully scant.
Her skin was translucent as snow, her face radiant and charming, like a delicate red rose. Her hips swayed, with one leg wrapped around the pole.
When Joseph thought about all those men watching her, he was consumed with anger.
He dialed Michael, but the bastard's phone was in a call.
Damn it.
The thought of everyone watching her made him want to tear Michael apart.
He got out of bed, strode out of his room, and within three minutes, he was on his private helicopter.
That night, the elite residents of Snowford Evergreen were all abuzz.
""Is that Joseph's private chopper? Where's he off to this late at night?""
It must've been something urgent for Joseph to fly private; he rarely travels that way.
...
Aboard the yacht.
A young man by the name of Kelvin, unable to restrain himself, sauntered up with a glass of whiskey in hand and wrapped a confident arm around Cassie's shoulders. Her skin was smooth like satin, tempting him to touch again. But with a slick move, the woman in his grip dodged out of his clasp like an eel.
""You do realize who I am, right? Don't bite the hand that feeds,"" Kelvin said, reaching for her face.
""Sorry, I'm only here to dance tonight,"" Cassie dodged with a tilt of her head. All she wanted was to get through the night peacefully. Revealing her identity as Leo's daughter was not an option—keeping it a secret was crucial to protect the Chapman family's reputation.
""Fine, if you down this drink in one go, I'll give you a thousand bucks."" Kelvin jingled the ice in his glass full of potent liquor.
Cassie gave a coquettish smile. ""A thousand? That's all?""
""You've managed to tick off Michael. A grand is already generous, considering that dress of yours,"" Kelvin chuckled, aware that everyone present was sharp as a tack.
Cassie glanced silently at the glass, then, seconds later, she lifted it and drained its contents with a series of swift gulps.
It was her first time downing spirits like that, burning down her throat and stomach. Yet, she endured and calmly handed the glass back."
