Chapter 754

Nathan snapped back to reality, burning with anger as he lunged towards Laura.
But with a perfect hip throw, Laura knocked Nathan to the ground.

The ground was all concrete, and Nathan's insides ached instantly from the impact.

"Mind your words," Laura said, pressing her foot against his face.

“Nathan," Megan's face paled with anger as she rushed over to pull Laura away. However, Cassie was quicker to step in front of Laura.

Cassie's persuasive tone only fueled Megan's frustration. "Why are you meddling in their old grudges?”

Megan didn't care much about Nathan, but witnessing him being beaten in front of her made her feel her dignity was being threatened.

"Megan, call the police, find Michael," Nathan cried out in pain.

Nathan had no knowledge of the hardships Laura had endured during her time away, but her fists felt as hard as iron, inflicting unbearable pain.

"Laura, bitch, you will regret it later. If you're brave enough, don't run. My people are coming over..."

"Your mouth is so stingy. Let me help you with that." Laura picked up a medium-sized stone nearby and struck him with it.

Nathan's screams of agony echoed in the graveyard,

Megan's expression shifted slightly, prompting her to retrieve her phone with the intention of calling Joseph. However, apprehensive of Joseph's current animosity towards Nathan, she ultimately decided to dial Michael's number instead.

Cassie didn't intervene, simply watching Megan make the call quietly.

Until they caught the attention of the graveyard caretaker.

"What are you doing? If you want to fight, go somewhere else. Don't disturb the peace of the dead.”

Megan was about to speak when Laura tearfully nodded and said, "Okay, sorry. I just couldn't control myself when I saw him. He's my uncle's son, and my uncle was literally driven to his death by him. My uncle was only fifty, and in the few years that I was abroad, they never once visited my uncle's grave.”

Nathan tried to explain, but his mouth had been hit too hard and he lost a few teeth.
The caretaker sighed, I've been overseeing this graveyard for quite some time, seen everything. There are graves that haven't been visited in over a decade, but descendants should have a sense of duty.”

"Alright, I won't fight anymore.  This is just how he is. He can't change his nature. It's useless to fight," Laura said sadly, covering Nathan's mouth.

"Okay, pay your respects properly at the grave," the caretaker said before walking away.

Megan's face had turned pale with anger, "Shameless. Since when did my dad become your uncle, shameless."

"Don't worry, compared to you two, we're not that shameless."

Laura released her grip on Nathan, who, with a swollen face, harbored a desire to retaliate against Laura.

However, recalling her previous actions, he refrained from approaching her. Nathan knew he stood no chance against Laura on his own, but he was confident that with the help of a few others, they could successfully confront her.

"Just wait," Nathan grimaced in pain, “Tomorrow, my sister is marrying Rosalind of the Hernandez family," Cassie remarked coldly. "Taking you down will be a walk in the park." She glanced at the flowers in Megan's hand and sneered, "You didn't come here today to flaunt in front of your father's grave, did you?”

Thinking about the upcoming wedding, Megan felt joyful again, "I'm getting married tomorrow. I have to inform my dad, of course. As for you, you have no relation to our Zenith's Family, so get lost."

"That's right, get lost," Nathan added.
