"Am I a garbage dump?" Laura retorted mercilessly.
Derek smiled gently, "I know you won't get back together with him. I'm just saying, but if Michael really starts bothering you, I won't hesitate to defend my rights as your boyfriend."
In the evening breeze, Derek spoke tenderly yet dominantly.
Laura gave Derek a flirtatious glance.
Derek felt an urge to take her back to his place.

"I've already asked Landon to help Megan find a lawyer to sue," Cassie suddenly smiled.

"Megan can't win, but she can still give Michael a hard time," Cassie said, crossing her arms and leaning back in her leather chair. "Is it you or Joseph who wants to disgust Michael?" Laura asked, amused.

"If you were a man, Joseph wouldn't stand a chance," Cassie gently pinched her cheek. "After all, during the most helpless time of my life, you were there for me, and you helped me take care of Sophia and Oliver. I'll never forget that."
"Cassie, you left your phone in the car."
The office door was suddenly pushed open, and Joseph's face turned ugly when he saw the scene inside, "Cassie, Laura, what are you two doing?"
Joseph's angry voice said.
Joseph strode over and pulled Laura away from Cassie.

Laura's eyes welled up.
She suddenly understood.
That's why Cassie never agreed with Bernice's way of dealing with Megan back then.
After a week in the hospital, Megan was taken back to the hotel by Landon.
At the same time, a lawyer's letter from Michael arrived.
Michael was suing Megan for marriage fraud, demanding that she repay the money spent on their wedding and a large sum for emotional distress.
