Chapter 1198 Cassie Is Your Biological Daughter

Declan's stern face finally softened. He leaned close to Isabella's ear and whispered, "Tell me you love me when we get back."

Sometimes, Isabella couldn't stand how childish Declan could be.

Everett pretended not to notice, used to their antics by now. To Declan and Isabella, he was just an extra.

Olivia wasn't in the mood either. Her mind was racing. She hadn't expected Isabella to start regaining her memory so soon after returning to Silverwood. Maybe Isabella hadn't remembered before because she hadn't been in familiar places. If she stayed longer and visited old haunts, she might remember that her daughter was Cassie.

Olivia had to stop Isabella from regaining her memory, but how?

When they arrived at the villa, Robert and Helen were already waiting at the door.

After the car stopped, Declan got out first, followed by Isabella.

Robert's eyes welled up. "Isabella."

He rushed forward but was blocked by the possessive Declan.

"Dad, they're Robert and Helen," Everett reminded Declan, trying to curb his jealousy.

"I can see that," Declan said coolly. He just didn't want any strange men hugging Isabella.

"You must be Robert," Isabella said, looking at him. She felt familiar the moment she saw him.

"Isabella, I never thought you'd be alive," Robert said, genuinely moved. He had grown up with Isabella. Only after she left did he become greedy and ambitious.

"Isabella, I'm Helen. You still look as young and beautiful as ever," Helen said emotionally. "Unlike Robert and me, we look like we're in our seventies."

"Helen, you both suffered in prison," Olivia quickly interjected, reminding Isabella that Cassie was responsible for Robert and Helen's condition.

"Robert, Helen, thank you for taking care of our parents all these years, and Olivia," Isabella said gratefully. "You raised her well."

Robert said nothing, but Helen, feeling guilty, said, "Please don't say that. It's our fault Olivia was kidnapped by traffickers back then. Luckily, we never gave up and found her safely. Isabella, I'm really sorry. The Peace Group you founded was meant for Olivia, but Cassie was so ruthless and took everything."

"Enough, it's not your fault," Isabella interrupted, her eyes cold. "I don't care about the money, but Cassie deserves to be punished."

"Isabella, she's still my daughter. You can teach her a lesson, but please don't take her life. Leave her some dignity," Robert stammered.

"You two are too softhearted," Isabella sighed. "Don't worry, I'll just ruin her reputation and make her pay for her past mistakes."

Everett frowned as he listened. He thought of Cassie and felt a bit lost. Was she really that bad?

"By the way, Robert, can you take me to the places I used to live in Silverwood tomorrow? I want to regain my memory as soon as possible," Isabella said.

"Memory?" Helen was momentarily stunned but quickly nodded. "Okay."

After lunch, Robert and Helen called Olivia into the study.

Helen lowered her voice, excitedly saying, "Olivia, what's going on? Didn't you say Isabella forgot everything? If she remembers, we're done for. Look at Declan; he's not someone to mess with."

"It's your fault for lying in the first place," Robert fumed at Olivia. "You dared to pretend to be Cassie. Are you out of your mind?"

"Mom, Dad, if it weren't for me, you'd still be in prison," Olivia said. "Besides, if Cassie is recognized by Isabella, it'll be even easier for her to deal with me. She'll torture me to death."

"Robert, have you forgotten how Joseph sold Olivia to a nightclub?" Helen reminded tearfully and angrily.

Robert was speechless. After a few years in prison, he had calmed down, but Olivia's ordeal still made him furious.

"Mom, Dad, don't worry. I'll think of something. Just make sure you don't give anything away," Olivia said.

"Do we really take her to revisit those places tomorrow?" Robert asked, bewildered.

"Take her to some unfamiliar places first and stall for a couple of days," Olivia instructed. "Remember, you have to insist that Cassie is your biological daughter."

Robert and Helen nodded.

Back in her room, Olivia dialed David's number. "Do you have any way to prevent Isabella from regaining her memory? If I'm exposed, I'll drag you down with me. Don't forget you're not in a good position either."

David pinched the bridge of his nose. "There's someone who might be useful. But I want to know when they are going to deal with Joseph and Cassie. Joseph is almost suffocating me."

"We'll be in Whisperlyn City in a few days," Olivia said before hanging up.

David quickly drove to find Megan. "You're a psychologist. Is there a way to make someone who lost their memory due to an accident never regain it?"

"Never?" Megan raised an eyebrow, looking at him strangely.

"If you can do it, I won't treat you badly," David said in a low voice.

"Mr. Foster, can you really make a comeback?" Megan doubted. She had seen Joseph's recent rise to power.

"Do you think I can be taken down that easily? Before Marcus fell, I had already established some connections abroad. Recently, Joseph and the Nelson family have been suppressing me, but the people who could deal with Joseph and Cassie have already appeared," David said with a cold smile. "That person is the one I need to prevent from regaining her memory."

Megan's eyes narrowed. "I know a drug used to treat mental illness. It can temporarily prevent someone from regaining their memory, but it has some side effects."

"What side effects?"

"Sometimes, it causes hallucinations," Megan said with a smile. "Do you want it?"
