Chapter 598

Atlas voiced his thoughts with a calm demeanor, "My elder brother yearns for his daughter. His longing makes him susceptible to deceit. However, Leo's Family holds a prestigious name, and we cannot allow any dubious individuals to infiltrate our ranks. A paternity test would provide a more reliable assurance."

Vera was quick to concur, "Indeed, even if this woman is genuine, she remains an illegitimate child. She's unfit to partake in such events."

"Security, escort her out," Luna commanded authoritatively. As Felix's wife and the prospective heir of the Leo Group, her words held weight, causing the security guards to hesitate momentarily. "Act swiftly. If she isn't removed promptly, both Chamberlain's family and Leo's Family will blacklist your hotel," Felix added urgently.

Leo's fury was ignited by these words, leading to a fit of uncontrollable coughing. "Let's see who dares to do that," he spat out between coughs.

Cassie, concerned for her father, gently patted his back, "Dad, calm down," before turning her attention to Atlas. "Uncle, you've always been this way, never welcoming of me. Despite us both being nieces, your favoritism has always been apparent."

Atlas met her gaze with a cold stare, "I've said it before, if a paternity test is conducted, I'll acknowledge you as my elder brother's daughter. Without it, I refuse to believe."

Cassie responded with a slight smile, her eyes gleaming icily, "I suspect it's not disbelief, but rather your fear of my return, worried that my presence will unsettle Luna."

"That's right. Your existence has disturbed my daughter. You're just an illegitimate child. How dare you harbor delusions of associating with the Leo Group?" Vera interjected loudly. "Over the years, Luna has significantly contributed to the Leo Group, a fact that is evident to all."

"That's true," several company shareholders concurred, their gazes shifting to Chapman, "Sir, what is your opinion?"

Chapman furrowed his brows, "Luna indeed possesses the necessary capabilities. The position of the Leo Group heir requires a competent individual. Leo, announce Luna as the new CEO. Regardless of the veracity of Cassie's claim, a paternity test is still necessary."

"Grandfather, you've misunderstood. I didn't come here today to vie for the position of the Leo Group heir. I merely wish to unveil the truth - Luna is not my father's biological daughter."

Cassie's casual remark ignited a flurry of discussions among the audience. Even Leo himself was taken aback. Vera's anxiety heightened, and she retorted vehemently, "Are you still insisting that you're not here for the heir's position? You're resorting to any means to undermine Luna, even resorting to slander, claiming she's not Leo's biological daughter. Can't you see their striking resemblance?"

"Lies, this is preposterous," Luna's eyes reddened with rage.

"Enough of this nonsense, security, escort her out immediately," Atlas barked, his anger evident as he slammed his wheelchair armrest.

"Why the rush, Uncle?" Cassie responded with a faint smile, "Could it be that you fear I'll disrupt your schemes?"

"Can't you hear me? I've had enough of her nonsense," Atlas glared at the security guards.

Left with no choice, the security guards advanced towards Cassie.

"I have two paternity test reports here," Cassie raised one of the documents, "One is between my father and Luna, showing no biological relationship. The other is between Luna and my Uncle, confirming a biological relationship."

Cassie's revelation left everyone, including the security guards, dumbstruck.

Leo snatched the paternity test report from Cassie's hand. As he read it, his face turned ashen, his body trembling as if on the verge of collapse.

His eyes, filled with a dark red gaze, glared at Vera before shifting to Atlas, "Luna is both of yours' daughter."

A flicker of unease passed through Vera and Luna's eyes, but it quickly vanished. Vera stomped her foot, tears streaming down her face, "Leo, you fool. How could you believe anything Cassie says? I swear to God, Luna is your biological daughter."

Luna's face turned pale as she spoke, "Dad, how can you say I'm Uncle's daughter? You've crossed a line. I am your real daughter."
