Chapter 1806 Stay Away from Him
"Tomorrow I have to go abroad with the President, so I need to go back early to prepare," Milan said, a bit annoyed.
"Didn't you say you had a day off tomorrow?" Nina's eyes flickered.
"Yeah, but plans changed last minute." Milan's expression was peculiar. "I was going to ask you to go shopping for clothes with me, but I guess that's not happening."
"We'll do it when you get back."
After seeing Milan off, Nina quickly received a message from Lucas: [If you really care about Milan, you should stay away from him.]

The next day.
Nina was woken up by a call from Cassie.
"I wanted to call you last night when I got back, but I didn't want to disturb you and Milan." Cassie chuckled. "So, what did you guys do later?"
"Had sex."
"So thrilling?" Cassie, who was having breakfast, was so shocked she choked.
"Do you really believe that?" Nina laughed. "Since when did you become like Laura?"
Cassie was a bit disappointed. "I didn't expect you to joke with me."
Nina was taken aback.
She was actually quite serious.
Especially after her rebirth, she rarely smiled, let alone joked.
But ever since she revealed her identity yesterday, she felt much more relaxed.
"This is good," Cassie said sincerely. "A lot has happened, and the dead can't come back to life, but we still hope you can come out of the shadows soon and find more happiness."
"Thank you."
From now on, she wanted to be kinder to herself.
"By the way, Nina, the reason I called is to tell you that when I was chatting with Noe yesterday, I got some information out of him. It seems Gary wants to collaborate with him on some business in Silvervale."
Nina was surprised. "Silvervale is a famous gambling city, mainly focused on the tourism and gambling industries."
"I think Gary might be interested in getting into the gambling industry," Cassie said. "It's a highly profitable sector, and the Ross family is in the hotel business, so they know a lot of wealthy people. Plus, from what Noe said, the Ross family's hotels aren't doing as well as they seem. Many new innovative hotels are very popular with young people. If Gary wants to take over the hotel business, he needs to make some achievements."
"Interesting," Nina said with a playful look. "I see Noe is trying to cozy up to you."
"Of course, Noe wants to use me to get close to Declan." Cassie laughed. "So, do you want me to help you?"
"I just thought of a quicker way to bring down Gary," Nina said. "In Madison, engaging in the gambling industry is illegal. Since Gary wants to do it, let's give him a little push."
"I get it." Cassie realized. "Noe and Gary aren't that close; they're just friends who have had a few meals and drinks together. Noe is a smart guy."
"Noe, being smart makes him easier to deal with." Nina smiled. "But it will be a bit of trouble for you."
"No problem, Noe does have some influence in Silvervale. Knowing someone like him isn't a bad thing, and I've always felt a bit guilty." Cassie suddenly said.
