Chapter 835
"Who is he..." Cassie couldn't help but look back at the man. However, before she could get a clear look, she was pulled back by a strong force.
Joseph domineeringly locked eyes with Cassie. "Do not be curious about other men."
Cassie said helplessly, "I don't have a preference for middle-aged men. I was just observing how formidable his aura was."
"He is the Dragon Society's leader and also the head of Dragon, only taking orders from me." Joseph explained to Cassie, "Those who can become the head of Dragon must be among the top in Madison in terms of skill. And those who can enter Dragon must also go through numerous difficult trials. Cassie nodded and said, "By the way, I just cut up all of Athena's clothes to shred inside. I reckon she will hate me in the future."

Cassie spoke openly and honestly. Joseph couldn't help but take a couple of extra glances at Cassie before curling his lips into a smile. "Are you concerned about me?"

"I won't." Joseph hugged her tightly. "Honey, my strength will be your shield from now on." Joseph made a silent promise in his heart, not to be the one who always hurts Cassie.
Inside the torture chamber. Wyatt pushed open the door and saw Travis untying Athena.
Athena was still wearing Travis's coat, which covered her upper body, but her lower half was still bare and exposed.
The floor was littered with scraps of cloth, and at a glance, one could tell they belonged to a woman.
"Mr. Powell..." As soon as Athena saw Wyatt, tears streamed down her face. "All my clothes were cut to shreds by Cassie, they all saw me naked."
"What's going on?" Wyatt asked and his face darkening. "Since when did we in Dragon have this kind of punishment?" Wyatt thought, at most, it would be a couple of lashes.
Travis hurriedly explained, "It was ordered by Mr. Hernandez, saying that Athena had undressed Cassie before, so Cassie wanted to get her revenge."
Wyatt took off his coat and threw it to Athena. "Come with me."
Athena sobbed and followed behind Wyatt, feeling strange gazes on her with every step she took.

"What time do you off work in the afternoon? I'll come pick you up," Joseph continued in a gentle voice, trying to entice her.
"I drove myself," Cassie answered.
"I got it. I'll have Nathaniel drop me off, and I'll wait for you at your car."
Finally, Cassie told Joseph the time.
In the afternoon, Cassie grabbed her bag and entered the private elevator.
The elevator stopped at the twenty-fifth floor, where Luna looked at Joseph triumphantly and was about to step in. But Cassie pressed the close door button directly, catching Luna in the middle.
"Cassie, are you trying to murder me?" Luna shouted, caught in a mess.
"You're overthinking it." After pressing the open button again, Cassie pushed Luna out. "Didn't you see the sign outside? It's the chairman's exclusive elevator. What qualifications do you have to ride it?"
Luna sneered. "Aren’t you just relying on Aiden giving you the status of an heir, but now I am the important person responsible for the future development of the Chapman family. You probably don’t know that Grandpa has agreed to let the finance allocate 12 billion to me for the development of the joint venture with the Chamberlain family. You must not have expected us to come back so quickly after you tried so hard to drive my father and me out."

His chest pocket held a pair of sunglasses, exuding a chic and stunning aura, especially with those long legs that could rival top international male models.
Cassie stood there for a while, feeling like Joseph seemed to be getting younger and younger. If he said he was twenty-five now, some might actually believe him.
"Cassie!" Joseph called out.
As soon as he saw Cassie coming, Joseph immediately opened the co-driver’s door.
Cassie handed the car key to Joseph and sat inside.
"I can do it myself," she then said.
Joseph leaned so close to Cassie that his body almost enveloped hers, emitting a woody, cool scent of a man with a hint of ambiguity. Cassie looked up a bit unaccustomed.
