"Stop making excuses. I'm not an idiot."
Elliott interrupted her excitedly. The more she explained, the more she was covering up. "I know everything. Did you resign because you had a falling out with your parents over me?"
Julia was stunned. Although that was partly true, how did he know, and he seemed to have thought a lot about it.
