"Have you said enough?" Joseph was thoroughly provoked. "Megan's reputation is her own; I don't need to be responsible for it."
"You've been with Megan for over ten years. If you're not responsible for Megan, then who is?" Michael said angrily.
For the first time in his life, Joseph felt an overwhelming sense of exhaustion towards this relationship.
Joseph just didn't want to get married. Why was it so difficult?
Did Joseph let Megan be mistreated in America before? Did he let Megan sleep with Rex?

"Michael, if you like her so much, then marry her; don't always come to pressure me," he said.
Joseph walked towards the door in big strides; he just wanted to go out for a smoke.
After Michael glanced at the pale-faced Megan, he couldn't bear it and followed outside, grabbing Joseph's arm and lowering his voice. "Do you think I don't want to marry Megan? But she likes you. She has always been with you. Joseph, you can't just discard her to someone else because you no longer want her. She is a living person, and more importantly, a woman who loves you wholeheartedly."

"You jerk!" Michael couldn't bear it, so he punched Joseph in the face. "Is it Cassie seducing you again? I'll go and deal with Cassie." he then yelled out.
Michael turned and left. Joseph stood in front of him, expressionless, warning, "You are not allowed to go find Cassie. It has nothing to do with her. Even without her, I won't marry Megan."
"Don't think you can fool me. Everything was fine before Cassie returned. I will make Cassie pay for the suffering Megan endured." Michael completely ignored Joseph.
The two men pushed each other in the corridor.
Finally, Michael couldn't bear it and threw a punch.
Joseph's anger also reached its peak. Joseph and Michael started fighting directly in the corridor.

"Enough, Michael. This is between Joseph and Me. Why do you always interfere?" Lucas warned helplessly. "Besides, Megan is in. The two of you fighting for Megan will only make her feel worse."
