Chapter 1180 He Is From the Wittelsbach family.

"I don't really care about that stuff. As long as I have you, Sophia, and Oliver, I'm happy," Joseph said with a smile. "Forget it. Let's not dwell on it. How about I go with you to that store up ahead?"

Cassie glanced at the store and blushed. It was a lingerie shop. "It's not right for you to come in with me. Besides, I don't need anything."

"Even if you don't need it, you could still get some new styles. I like seeing you in them," Joseph whispered in her ear, making all the tension disappear.

On the fourth floor, Everett watched quietly with a cup of tea.

He had planned to run into Cassie tonight, flaunting his wealth with that black card, thinking she'd flirt with him.

But Cassie didn't. She didn't give him any chance. When Joseph showed up, she openly showed her affection for him.

"Mr. Wittelsbach," a subordinate said, appearing behind Everett.

"Joseph might be suspicious of who I am," Everett sighed.

Manuel was shocked. "How? Joseph has never been involved in our business, and the Hernandez family isn't big enough to deal with the Wittelsbach family."

"He even asked if I was from the Wittelsbach family in Neya City. How would he know about us?" Everett was puzzled.

"So, what now?" Manuel asked. "By the way, Mrs. Wittelsbach thinks Joseph and Cassie are plotting together and wants us to take out the Hernandez family too."

"Joseph's made a strong comeback recently. It won't be easy to take him down; we'll need a new plan," Everett said, stroking his chin. "Tell me, what is it about Joseph that attracts women? Isn't he a jerk?"

"People say Joseph is the biggest jerk, but maybe it's because he's rich," Manuel said. "After Cassie got back with him, Joseph made a comeback. Maybe she knew he'd become the richest man in Madison again and got back with him early."

"Is that so?" Everett was skeptical.

But he didn't think Cassie was that kind of person.

He was getting more confused.

"By the way, Mr. Wittelsbach, should we toss the clothes Cassie picked out for you?"

"Why would we throw them away? Do I look like I have too much money? I'll take them and wear them," Everett said, leaving with his teacup.

His subordinate was bewildered, thinking, 'Since when did Mr. Wittelsbach like bright colors? Isn't he here to avenge Olivia?'

Back at the Hernandez House, Joseph called Cameron while Cassie, Sophia, and Oliver were bathing. "Dad, have you ever heard of someone named Everett Wittelsbach?"

"Wittelsbach?" Cameron was puzzled.

"Yeah, he's in his early twenties and has been around Cassie a lot. Seems a bit too coincidental, and Cassie said he has a black card like mine."

"I haven't heard of Everett," Cameron said. "But Declan and Ariana have a son around that age. Of course, it might not be him, as there are many Wittelsbachs, especially in Luminara, where they control most of the banks."

"He said he's from Luminara," Joseph mentioned.

"Then he must be from the Wittelsbach family, but I don't know whose son he is," Cameron said, puzzled. "Why would someone from the Wittelsbach family come to Madison? They have almost no economic ties here."

"Could Isabella really be Declan's wife?" Joseph speculated. "Maybe she regained her memory and came back to find her daughter."

"That's possible. Aren't Everett's parents coming to Madison? Keep an eye on Everett; his parents will show up sooner or later," Cameron advised.

After hanging up, Joseph felt a bit helpless.

Things had finally settled down. If Isabella showed up, would she oppose him being with Cassie?

At the end of the month.

In a castle before dawn, the crew was already bustling with activity.

Today was the official start of filming for renowned director Callie's new movie, "The Whispering Shadows."

Before the actors arrived, the crew began to gossip.

"I didn't expect Bernice and Sarah to be in the same movie."

"Yeah, I heard they were both vying for the lead role, and Bernice lost, ending up as the supporting actress."

"This supporting role is really unlikable. It's a pity for Bernice. I actually think she'd be better suited for the lead role."

"Keep your voice down if you don't want to get into trouble. Sarah is Mr. Nelson's fiancée. No one dares to say anything against Sarah unless they don't want to work in this industry anymore."

"Look, Ms. Sullivan is here. She's early."

Someone quietly pointed out.

Everyone looked over and saw Sarah walking in, followed by three assistants.

"Ms. Sullivan, why are you here so early?" a crew leader asked.

"I wanted to get familiar with the set early to avoid any mistakes during filming," Sarah said with a gentle smile, "Everyone, carry on. Don't mind me."

With that, Sarah took her script and started scouting the set.

Watching her leave, people whispered, "I thought she'd be arrogant, but she's actually quite approachable."

"And hardworking."

"Even if her acting isn't as good as Bernice's, she's diligent. Look, Bernice isn't even here yet."

Soon, Callie arrived and saw Sarah seriously studying the script. She nodded in satisfaction.

Although Sarah wasn't her first choice, her effort made her a promising talent.

Gradually, most of the actors arrived, but Bernice was still missing.

Callie's expression grew increasingly displeased as she despised actors being late.

"Look, who's that? So handsome. Is he part of the cast?"

"That's Mr. Nelson from the Nelson family." Everyone's attention shifted.

Sarah's eyes lit up even more. She hadn't expected Lucas to visit on the first day of filming.

"Lucas, what brings you here?" Sarah walked over, full of surprise, and wrapped her hands around Lucas's arm.

Today, Lucas was dressed in gray trousers with a vest over a white shirt. His handsome face was charming, but a closer look revealed his sharp and cold eyes.

"I'm just here to take a look," Lucas said indifferently, but he didn't push her hand away. After all, everyone knew Sarah and he were engaged.
