Chapter 1803 She's Just That Arrogant

"If she can continuously bring me benefits, I might consider marrying her. But with her and Lucas, if I marry her, I'll definitely become a joke, and my family would never agree."

Gary sighed deeply, "It's not easy, but as long as she's willing to be with me, I'll take care of her for a lifetime. I won't be like before. If she wants a child, I'm willing to give her a child, a child of the Ross family. My parents would definitely accept that."

Noe nodded in agreement, "Indeed, Bernice is very smart. A woman like her would be a great help as a wife. But with all that mess with Lucas, even if she wins, no decent man would dare to marry her."

"Yes, maybe I shouldn't have broken up with her before, then none of this would have happened. Bernice was really good to me. Out of all the girlfriends I've had, she was the only one who saved money for me and always bought me gifts."

Speaking of this, Gary felt a bit regretful, "Ever since I got engaged to Lucy, her spending has been unbearable. We aren't even married yet, and she's like this. Imagine after we get married."

"The problem is, she's not even as pretty as Bernice," Noe teased.

The two men exchanged a knowing look and smiled.

Men understood men the best.

In the SUV.

The only sound was from the radio.

Milan kept a cold face and didn't speak.

"Who owes you money?"

Nina saw the pack of cigarettes on his shelf, casually picked it up, took out a cigarette, and was about to put it to her pretty red lips.

Milan quickly snatched it away and threw it aside, scolding, "Why are you smoking?"

"Men can smoke, but women can't?" Nina said calmly.

Milan lifted his eyes and said in a low voice, "We often have to undergo special training; the pressure is high."

"Then you should rest well at home," Nina glanced back at him. "Why are you out so late?"

"Isn't it because you took over Laura and Cassie?" Milan said with a laugh, "Derek called and asked if I liked you. If I didn't, he would introduce other men to you every day. I quickly said I liked you. He said since I like you, I should actively pursue you. He said I deserve to be single forever."

"You see, I've sacrificed for you again," Milan said with deep emotion, "If it weren't for me, Derek and Joseph would be setting you up with new guys again. How are you going to thank me?"

"Tell me, how do you want to be thanked?" Nina asked.

Milan pretended to think seriously, "I don't have much taste in clothes. How about you help me pick out some clothes when we go shopping someday?"

Nina laughed, "Honestly, you guys wear uniforms most of the time. There's no need to waste money on that. Really, save your money."

"No way, I want to buy clothes," Milan tapped the steering wheel and hummed, "If I don't dress up, I might never find a girlfriend in this lifetime."

He paused for a few seconds, then glanced at Nina with a strange tone, "Do you not want to go with me, or do you not want to thank me? Just say it, I'll tell Derek tomorrow that I don't like you and let him introduce you to new guys."

"Enough already," Nina said angrily and helplessly. "Isn't Derek and his group too idle? We women are busy with our careers, and all they think about is accompanying women."

"So, do you agree or not?" Milan asked with a mischievous smile.

Nina rubbed her forehead, "Fine, fine, you set the time."

"Say no more, tomorrow. I happen to be off tomorrow," Milan said.

Just as Nina was about to speak, Gary suddenly sent her a message on Facebook: [Baby, let's go to your favorite breakfast place tomorrow morning. I'll pick you up at 9 AM, okay?]

Milan glanced quickly and sneered, "Scumbag."

Nina remained silent.

Coincidentally, a message from Lucas also came in: [Come to the office at 9 AM tomorrow. I need to discuss some company matters with you.]

Milan glanced again and scoffed, "Why do you always attract scumbags?"

"Where are your eyes looking?" Nina said with a twitching mouth, "Are you driving or peeking at my phone? Do you have a lazy eye?"

"Injustice! I wasn't peeking. I just glanced at your side mirror. Your phone is too big," Milan quickly put on an innocent look. "Besides, I'm not wrong. They are scumbags."

"Yeah, I have a knack for attracting scumbags. So, are you a scumbag too?" Nina asked with a half-smile.

"Do you want to find out? Try it, and you'll know," Milan said roguishly.

"Boring."

Nina couldn't be bothered with him anymore and lowered her head to reply to the messages, rejecting these men one by one.

As for Lucas, she replied even more harshly: [I'm just a shareholder and don't handle company affairs. I only care about dividends. If you want to discuss with me, I support you stepping down. Don't cling to the CEO position.]

She was that arrogant.

On the other end, Lucas was so angry that he called her, "Bernice, I was planning to discuss letting you join the board tomorrow. It seems you have no interest in the board at all."

"You would agree to let me join the board?" Nina was quite surprised.

"I had that thought," Lucas said with a cold laugh, "You seem to want to stay a shareholder forever."

"Baby, I suddenly want to smoke. Can you light a cigarette for me?" Milan's gentle voice suddenly came from beside her.

Nina shuddered in disgust.

She glared at Milan angrily.

Milan smiled at her, "Baby, you're good at lighting cigarettes. I like it."

"Bernice, who are you with so late at night?" Lucas's cold voice came through the phone, "Milan?"
