Cassie was shocked. She hadn't even been in a relationship and now she was planning for a child.

""I'm envious,"" Cassie hadn't even kissed Joseph; how pathetic.
Thirty minutes later, the two of them appeared in a high-end mall in Madison.
Cassie had been complaining ever since they arrived.
""The clothes here are so expensive. Why did you bring me here? Joseph is a thrifty and low-key person. He drives a Lexus and usually wears well-tailored, high-quality clothes, but they're all brands I've never heard of.""
""But a big boss can't dress too poorly. How about the clothes in that store?"" Laura dragged her into a high-end men's clothing store next to them and pointed at the clothes on the models.
Cassie glanced at them and said, ""The clothes are nice, but the models' physique doesn't compare to Joseph's.""
Laura teased, ""Knowing your husband has a fantastic physique.""

Cassie believed that Joseph deserved that title. Among all the men she had seen, he had the best physique.
""What are you thinking about that's making your face so red?"" Laura smirked.
""Nothing, let's just go. This place is too expensive,"" Cassie said, embarrassed, as she pulled Laura to leave.
The salesperson approached with a smile and said, ""This outfit is our newest design, and there are only two sets available in the entire country as limited editions.""
No need for an introduction; someone like her can't afford it anyway,"" came a mocking voice.
Then, Charlotte and Sarah came into view.
""Miss Jones, Miss Randall…"" The salesperson 's eyes brightened, and he quickly went to meet them.
Charlotte glanced at Cassie and said, ""What's this? Found a new man? But your man's status isn't really impressive, is it?""
He's just a lawyer; no matter how much money he makes, he's still working for their kind of influential family.
Laura chuckled angrily, ""Are you crazy? You know who her boyfriend is…""
Cassie pulled her and shook her head, signaling her to stop.
Her marriage to Joseph was confidential, but she wasn't sure who Charlotte mistook as her boyfriend.
Sarah, feeling a bit triumphant, recalled how their families used to be the wealthiest, and she always had to follow behind them, saying, ""Cassie, maybe you should find another place. I heard there are only a few thousand dollars in your account right now.""
""Sarah, you're going too far."" Laura was furious. Before their fallout, she had told Sarah about Cassie's embarrassing situation, but she didn't expect her to turn around and betray her friend.
As expected, the salesperson became impatient upon hearing that they didn't have money.
""If you can't afford it, just leave. We have very few sales associates here, and we can't handle too many customers.""
